Final Four vs. UCONN - 4/1 8:49pm EDT on CBS

I preface a brief comment by saying we Canes basketball fans for years now take this sport very seriously and our team seriously. Winning is the primary objective.

But I turn on my TV guide and see two Final Four shows ahead of the 2 Final Four games and other than the Super bowl this is the most hyped event in sports.

Soooooo Canes fans we have already won in exposure and a larger following both locally and nationally. And in the respect category fahgettabatotit.

Great luck Canes fans and team .Tonight let’s represent the U for we are on the glory road map now and hopefully in the future.

So let’s say he had the flu. Dude won’t have the energy after possibly vomiting for two days. I’m sure they will pump him with electrolytes etc…. But he will be 75% at most if he even plays.

What I was saying is that an average shooting night isn't going to rattle us.
I think it kinda will. On average we score nearly 80 a game. No one has pressed you guys like that. Shooting from a lead is far different from shooting from behind.

An above average night and we're probaby getting around 85+. You won't beat us on an above average night. That means that you can't stop us.

Well something will have to give. Credit to our defense which only gives up 65 ppg which ranks like top 30ish. Gonzaga (# 1 in ppg) scored 54 and Alabama (#7) scored 67.

This is a take I have not heard from any UM fan yet. While most of you believe you can win (and I would agree that you can win), I would say you will need, the the very least, an above average shooting % to stay with UCONN
Disagree. We shoot better on average than you. Our average offense vs your average offense we win. If your d can do what Houston and Texas couldn’t then we’ll have a problem.

So you're saying we have to shoot the ball well to win a national semi-final game against a good team?

Earth-shattering ana

....and on average UConn scores 79 a game and gives up 64 points. Miami scores 80 and gives up 72. So, on average, you'll lose. Gonzaga's scoring average leads the country. How'd that work out against UConn? Stats mean little at this point. Let's play the game!
