Final Four vs. UCONN - 4/1 8:49pm EDT on CBS

miami. id actually argue miami is playing as well (I dont think Gonzaga was great this year and were lucky to sneak past UCLA). outside of drake which was obviously the fluke game, we've been as good and we've handled our ****. the final four game is gonna be tougher than the NC game imo

What most people forget is that Drake is a team full of grown a$$ men. Their average age is 25.3 years. That is older than 3 of the NBA teams.

We had a bunch of 20 -22 year olds going against them. The difference in physical strength and mental maturity with that age difference is significant.

The media talks like we were playing a junior college team

UCONN is playing the best ball of the tournament right now. theyre the favorite for a reason. it doesn't mean miami can't win and wont win.
Your point is actually better than the point the UConn dude was making.
Metrics are based on the compilation of numbers over an entire season.

Give me momentum over metrics any day.
Yes, UConn has got it, but so do we.

ESPN say we have a 1 in 4 chance of winning.
I like it.

be careful when buying parking. You can not purchase parking passes ahead of time for the stadium so the ones on the ticket brokers are people selling spots around the stadium.
Correct, I bought at the Shell Station. It is a half mile walk to NRG gate.

Our starting 5 is ridiculous. Midway through ACC play, when Wooga started balling and Pack stopped missing, this became the best starting 5 in the country. We should just play our starters 40 minutes this weekend.
In the last 10 games Wooga is averaging greater than 10 per game. So, all 5 starts are averaging double figures now.

Just joined this board to wish ya'll the best of luck on Saturday. I'm a Duke alum and proud of it. But I root for the ACC in the tournament (just not that school from Chapel Hill). Though I always wanted to beat you guys when we played, I've always respected Larranaga and his program, and the players he recruits. I've really liked Wong for years. I think he would have worked out great in the Duke system. He was a worthy ACC POY, and I'd love to see him get the FF MOP. And I wish I knew Omier was healthy at the start of the tourney. I picked Miami for the S16. But if he was healthy, I probably would have had them in the FF, too. He's so solid and key for this team. I'm not afraid to admit that the ACCs might have been different if Omier hadn't gotten hurt. It also doesn't hurt that you are playing UConn on Saturday, a school I have little respect for (though I have no problem with Danny Hurley, Calhoun left a stink on that program that exists for me to this day). UConn has looked good, but they still need to play well again to win - there's absolutely no guarantee of that. The competition just gets better and better in the tourney, and Miami is as tough as they come. So bottom line: Go 'Canes! Win another natty for the ACC!

Hurley on Ormier:

"He's the kind of guy and then some that we faced in the big east"

He was talking about how big a challenge they have handling Orchad.....
