Hate to say it. We are going to have to rely on Walker and Casey to attack the rim straight up and get their big men in foul trouble.
Omeir has to be protected at all costs to play 40 minutes
he can't play 40 minutes. i don't know what his average is, but he plays around 30-32 minutes. he expends a ton of energy

While dangerous, I do like that even though he has 4 fouls he is just as aggressive as if he had 2 fouls .

I can tell you this, since it happened right in front of me with a minute left, but the entire UM section thought that Norchad had picked up his 5th foul when that ******* from Texas backed him the **** up and he hit the ground hard.

Then we got the call, and the angels rejoiced.

I was glad to re-watch that play from multiple angles on TiVo. Good lord, that goofy Texas player started backing into Norchad about halfway between the foul line and the basket and didn't stop pushing him until nearly the top of the key.

**** that piece of crap. He was DEFINITELY trying to **** Norchad up on that play. That was no box out. That was deliberate and dirty.

And who would you say is playing the second best ball of the tournament right now?
miami. id actually argue miami is playing as well (I dont think Gonzaga was great this year and were lucky to sneak past UCLA). outside of drake which was obviously the fluke game, we've been as good and we've handled our ****. the final four game is gonna be tougher than the NC game imo

Does anyone realize when Omeir got his 4th foul vs tejas & went to the bench our comeback started in earnest? Not saying this would be the case vs the huskies but everyone seems to miss this.
that actually helped the D. we went small I believe and were able to switch stuff a bit easier vs trying to protect Omier.

This was a good game you can see how to stop UConn as well as see what’s working as they almost came back but lost at home down 20. Xavier beat them twice as they had good 3pt shooting both games and great guard play which is UConn weakness as their guards are mainly scorers not defenders

We have shot makers and very good guard play. With that you always have a punchers chance. Most teams don’t have multiple guys that can go get you a basket.

He gets into foul trouble which causes him to have to sit spells because he is aggressive but you don't want to discourage it either because he is such a monster around the rim. L just has to manage him properly.

I thought they were calling Chad, and I was going to jump though my screen. Fortunately, they didn't.
