I haven't read the police report or this entire thread. But, the police saying they admitted to it doesn't necessarily mean these guys strolled into the CGPD and said "we drugged this chick and raped her." They could be so f*cking stupid to think that they did nothing wrong and simply admitted that they knew she was ****ed up, as were they, when they engaged in some twisted train. That aside, I'm glad they are gone even if they did not flatly admit to rape.

Wow. The University of Miami remembered that they are a school first and foremost? I'm shocked. Maybe a certain school up north can learn something from this...

no effect on recruiting, tonight or in the future. it's not a lingering situation. the only coach who can sit down and talk to recruits about this situation are those who have never had a player arrested or dismissed. there aren't a lot of those out there, at least not who we traditionally recruit against.

So if they raped her it's a tragic error in judgment ? They didn't miss a WR on a crossing route. IF they raped her, isn't that minimalizing it?

My thoughts:

1) sucks for the victim

2) Figs and Blue got exactly what they deserved (and more on the way) for making such a stupid decision. What were they possibly thinking? "Hey Alex let's drug this chick and **** her! Lets just hope she doesn't file charges on us when she wakes up tee hee hee!" dummies.

3) ***** these guys. We are in a truly pitiful state if the absence of Alex Figeuroa makes the difference between another disappointing year and double digit wins/costal title. He could've torn an ACL in fall camp....you just never know. I just hope Golden doesn't use this as an excuse as to why are defense might stink again.

4) great opportunity for the young guys (Grace, Mike Smith, Owens, Young etc)

5) Two more schollys for some smarter kids (hopefully).
 
Disagree with my boy blue.

This won't have but 2 or 3 days in the news cycle tops. Neither player did anything of note on the field, and that's how it goes. That's the way it goes and why it will be a blip on the radar screen nationally (unlike Winston).

Figueroa's biggest accomplishment was being given a nickname and a gif by me. JaWand Blue's biggest accomplishment was providing us a funny signing day moment in 2012.

And lol at anyone patting anyone at the school on the back for kicking a rapist out of school. Like it's some profile in courage or something.

Can already see Golden spinning this as the latest excuse as to why his defense will continue to suck.
