Feldman on Miami & Golden

Gotta love it when a Golden supporting, Don Bailey Jr disciple calls someone a "low level thinker"

Definition of irony.

This is coming from the same guy who guaranteed (and also guarantees next year) a Top 30 defense that would "break records for defensive turnarounds."

Golden has a bunch of dudes in love because he was well-spoken at his presser. He's formal Randy Shannon.

Not sure what you're trying prove with this comparison except that you're incapable of thinking in abstract and can only digest information on a concrete basis. Typical analysis of a low level thinker.
Looking deeper into that comparison unveils a coach who came in at a disadvantage compared to his predecessor since he didn't know players the players he inherited, unlike Shannon who knew what he was inheriting. Did'n't have the recruiting contacts and relationships built.
Had the disadvantage of a major scandal the would rock the program for 3 critical years blow up in his face 2 weeks before his 1st game.
Had to deal with uncertainty, suspensions, that the NCAA investigations brought and not to mention the negative recruiting that ensued.
Had to deal with the ongoing investigations of his players and resulting low player moral when it was revealed that school would self impose 2 bowl bans. Had to deal with the not getting the benefit of the extra practice time and experience younger players would have gotten had they not self imposed the said bowl bans while his main acc competition did.
Mind you the above Shannon did not have to deal with and yet Golden has a better overall record and can be argued that has pulled better classes.
So no, he's not a formal Randy. THINK beyond what's in front of your face.

I'll get back to negging this post as well, but you are without a doubt the lowest thinking porster on this site. Bar none. And the counter to your bowl comment is we earned a bowl and should have been a huge positive and **** the bed. Spin that calamity jane...

WHen you can't refute resort to negging. LULZ..

As for the bowl, did you happen to notice Golden cleared the bench by mid game and had our #3's and 4'w playing UL's #1's and 2's?
Even a simpleton like yourself should be able to figure out why.

He is a good face and stabilized the program but not the coach to bring us to the elite level. Sorry but 8-4 at temple is not elite by miami old standards. He didnt win championship there, also temple was a mac program then.

9 wins at temple is like 12 wins here.. it's too soon to say golden is not the dude for the job, considering the amount of years of futility before he got here, 3 years is not enough time to get it done.

God this is one of the biggest myths that the Don Bailey Jr crowd busts out in defense of the Temple boys.

I don't have the stat on me...but someone on this board already broke down not only those "9 wins" but all his wins at Temple...the facts are he beat HORRIBLE opponents.

It's the equivalent of saying you have a BORDERLINE top 10 recruting class but have 30+ expected in the class.

Quantity over Quality. If I had to sum up Golden in 3 words it would be those.....quantity over quality.

But hey...keep on with the Don Bailey Jr battle cry.

you do realize it's temple right? people are somehow forgetting IT"S TEMPLE.. he wasn't playing with a Bama's roster against 'horrible opponents".. IT"S ******* TEMPLE.. jesus christ..

@CaneAlmighty...Lesson number one: don't fack with King Leonidas.

3 years is the barometer with corches. If you don't see some serious improvement in the 3rd year, then the HC is a bum. Sadly, we got worse as the season progressed in his 3rd year at the helm and played the worst game of his tenure here in our last game against Loserville. Then, to top it all off, the bum spent a week playing rhythmic slapping games with Ped State in the showers during the EE signing period costing us commits.

All the data is there. Anyone who doesn't see it is either **** bent on being the fa.ggy contrarian, or they just worship authority figures.

This will be his last year here.

He may leave on his own but no way he gets fired. If this season doesn't go well, 2015 is judgement day.

He left himself an out by holding onto the "Fire Dorito" card. Corches always buy themselves an extra year by scapegoating their assistants. Then, they get fired the season after they scapegoat their assistants. The idiots will lap his ******* if he fires Dorito next season even if we crap the sheets in 2014.

Low Level Thinker? Everything you list above is the drivel of an infantile sycophant-- I give reasons-- in response, YOU pander and provide nothing more than a litany of excuses. You're delusional. I could answer every "excuse" you list above, but I won't bother. You're incapable of logical thought or simple deduction.

As our program teeters on the brink of irrelevance, you fiddle while Rome burns.

For the record I made not even a tangential reference to Randy Shannon. But for all his faults, he still fielded a team that actually played defense. So good luck spinning that.

In the coming 2014 season, as we flounder, you'll climb further out on the limb with more facile excuses.

In 2015, when things still don't improve, you'll feel the despondence and disillusionment that many here realized after the Va Tech debacle, and you'll be embarrassed and fade your *** into the word work, not speaking so boldly, as your tail will be between your legs and your foot firmly planted in your mouth-- as you come to the realization that everything the dissenters here predicted was actually true.

You'll finally wake up and realize what many here have already concluded, but in your feckless manner, you wont admit it; you'll offer more weak, hopeful, forward-looking statements, assuring all is not lost and we can still turn things around with another good recruiting class-- b/c that's your cover, it fits your narrative and inoculates you from admitting your blind loyalty devoid of critical thinking, which will by that time have been firmly dispelled.

The bottom line, this sorry excuse for a head coach had the dream cup cake schedule and still managed to bungle it. The schedule won't ever be as forgiving as it was this year. We could have top 5 recruiting classes 3 years running, and b/c Al Golden has reached the ceiling of his abilities, coupled with his stubborn intransigence, and inflexibility, and refusal to fire his DC who by any empirical analysis cannot coach defense, he will continue to run this program into the ground.

Who's the low-level thinker now? You're weak, and emblematic of everything that's wrong with the mentality of this program and administration.

Don't go away mad... just go away.

Gotta love the 6, 7, 9 crew. These are the imbeciles who are crowning a guy because he was horrible enough to only win 6 and 7 games at UM. Set the bar ultra low and then make the morons think you're doing a great job when you reach the lofty status of 9-4 against a horrible schedule while getting drubbed by any team with a pulse.

If Diabeetus Gut had won 4 games his first year, then we'd be doing REALLY great now. Isn't that how the ****** logic goes?

3 years is enough to gauge the direction we're headed. If you can't see that, you should probably let me borrow some money. I'll pay you back.

6,7,9.....
with recruiting classes getting successively better each year.
Yeah, we seem to be headed in the wrong direction.

LOL His recruiting classes aren't getting better. He has had one class that I would say was hands down a success in 2012. Last year was awful and the end to this current class is shaping up to be another failure. Loaded South Florida and we won't even crack the top 10.

Shannon in his first 3 years went 5, 7, 9. How did that work out?

This is the same **** arguement that was made from 2007 to january of 2010. And you were on the front line of bashing Randy Shannon in those days. **** off.

I know its late and recruiting season, but do we have less talent than the teams we lost to? Do all those acc defenses above us have more talent? I saw kermit and all the other players we recruited playing for the other ****** team, so I know the answer for one loss, but the other losses? the other acc defenses? get your licks in now, cause when we turn it around....

After the UL game.. The heat will be on. If you can't turn it around by year 4: see ya. We have been consistently inconsistent. Under Fisch and Coley we have ZERO identity. Under Donofrio/Golden our defense has ZERO identity. What we see is 2 Gap Bail cover 3/quarter<---- I just made that up.

It's a shame bc every CANE fan including myself wanted AG to succeed here. At the end of the day no coach or player is bigger then THE U! We gave him his time and we have zero results thus far. If you don't cut the mustard, goodbye.

ACCCGOGTFOH !!!!

THIS, 2014 is do or die for AG.

This will be his last year here? Haha man. Y'all some brilliant ones.

He has 2 more years minimum. Donna ain't paying all that buyout.

Not saying you are wrong, but nothing like the unknown. We went down this same path with Coker/Shannon. No one knows the buyout number and what the admin would be willing to pay.
