For the people that (understandably) say well this is the same positive vibes we hear every season

Last year that was not the case. Yes some reports always say the same thing but there was a lot of concern from certain people last year

From Canesport:

Team came up with the "Money Ball Challenge" early in the summer. It rewarded the receiver that caught the most balls each week on the JUGS machine.
To encourage his receivers to do their part, TVD participated for a week, taking his turn playing WR.

“I caught like 1,500 or something (balls) like that just to get them catching some balls,”

TVD noted that it appears to have worked. “This is the best I’ve seen the receivers so far. They’ve been doing a great job catching the ball, getting upfield, run after catch. I think from last year to this year it’s a huge jump. I’m excited to see what those guys can do leading into game week and the season.”

“I feel more comfortable over this past week-and-a-half or so, feel like we’re getting in a groove with everything offensively,” said Van Dyke, adding that he’s studied film on all Miami’s opponents over the summer. “I’m very proud of the guys and what we’ve accomplished so far. But still a good way to go.”

“Ray Ray made a big jump, had a really good off-season, working hard getting on the JUGS machine. He won the money ball challenge for receivers (with the most total catches on JUGS in the offseason). He’s done a great job catching the ball, running routes, getting open. He really took that jump, will continue to do that.”

“I’m really happy with timing with all the guys out there, now it’s just about executing, throwing and catching the ball. Doing a great job, and going to continue to do that.”

its crazy that it seems like our hardest working WR is a freshman i guess the culture change is finally happening.

Doubt if this kid’s career was over he’d be out there with a helmet on. This video obviously tells you nothing as far as how close he is to being able to actually block an edge player from A&M, but still very good to see he’s out there and dressed.

He’s in FULL PADS!! you don’t wear full pads without a red no contact jersey if you can’t play.
