Brother, we could be playing in Fiji in July and we have no shot with this defense.I do think we sneak in but we got zero shot in the snow/cold weather in December w this defense

All we need to be is at 11 dude I don’t know what the **** you’re talking about. Every single chance we have depends on SMU winning it doesn’t really matter what you’re saying. Then put us at 10 and Boise st at 9. I'm just saying thats literally the only hope we have given a Clemson win over SMU. But idk why anyone would think its outside the realm of possibility we could be ahead of Indiana still. If you can debate Miami vs Bama why can't you debate Miami vs Indiana. **** any argument to have Bama ahead of Miami with 1 more loss can be used to put Miami ahead of Indiana. In fact it's probably easier.
They won the ACC championship without their star QB. 2 loss teams have been ahead of 1 loss teams, so they could logically put a 3 loss ahead of a 2 loss. I don’t agree with that, but they can do it.Not even close to being the same thing. FSU with a backup QB who couldn’t compete a forward pass is lot the same as a healthy 10-2 team
If you don't know what I'm saying maybe you should try reading what I wrote. It's explained extremely clearly. It literally couldn't be more clear what the **** I meant. All we need to be is at 11 dude I don’t know what the **** you’re talking about. I forgot how terrible your posts were. Thanks for the reminder. Happy holidays. If you don't know what I'm saying maybe you should try reading what I wrote. It's explained extremely clearly. It literally couldn't be more clear what the **** I meant.
From VT on I knew we were a paper tiger . You can’t have a defense this atrocious and believe you have a legit shot at a natty or even deserve to be in the playoff. The sad part is we have a national title caliber offense. So just an average defense would have us capable of beating anyone. What a waste of a year and money with the D. That said if we get in great , Psu and ND might be the only two higher seeds we matchup with somewhat well.Yeah they setting us up for heartbreak.
But can you break a heart that has already been broken?
Lol I'm terrible but if you literally ONLY read the original post you responded to's opening sentence there would be zero confusion on your part.I forgot how terrible your posts were. Thanks for the reminder. Happy holidays.
Tennessee has scored over 30 three times in conference play. Its not like their Defense is much of a difference from ND - both seem great. And ND is a much bigger QB run threat and just general stopping the run challenge. GTech showed how easy it is to beat us just running it and limiting our posessions. ND is like that on steroids in a game against us most likely. From VT on I knew we were a paper tiger . Can't argue thatI don’t give a **** the momentum and optics of being in the playoff or not is massive
Tennessee would be a decent matchup. I dont think we deserve to be in but I’m speaking more of who we matchup with. GT played the perfect game that day to their credit. They also faked injuries and physically assaulted the wr’s every play in coverage. So I wouldn’t take much from that other than our coaches looking retarded against a qb with no arms.Tennessee has scored over 30 three times in conference play. Don’t forget USF common opponent, no small thing. We dominated for the most part, they pulled away late but were in a serious dogfight into the 4th.If we were doing this how one large mega conference would do it, we have two losses, they have three. Done. But it isn't, so let's look at more:
Olemiss/Bama beat SC, SC is gone. (h2h trumps common opponent). Olemiss loss to UF should disqualify them vs. us.
That leaves Bama. They lost to 6-6 Vandy by 5, 21 to 6-6 OU, and by 7 to a ranked Tennessee. They are 1-3 vs. bowl eligible teams on the road. We are 4-2. Our two losses are one score losses on the road vs. a GT team that went to 8 OTs vs. Georgia and a 9 win Syracuse team. Both ole miss and bama's only bright spot has been beating Georgia. Who again went to 8 OTs with GT. Alabama's offense/qb have been abysmal lately (and don't tell me it doesn't matter, see FSU/Jordan Travis situation).
I don't care if we make it or not, but read all that and tell me why they deserve it. Recruiting class rankings? The fact they play in the SEC and can't beat the **** teams in it? Because they're going to take their ball and go home?
Bring back the BCS if it stays at 12 or just make it a 4-6 team playoff. This **** is exhausting.
Taking 3 loss teams because theyre in the SEC sets a terrible precedent.
Canes will freeze their rear ends off and better start dropping the AC as cold as it will go in their IPF with blowing fans too.I've been beating this drum since Sunday Morning:
The Suits want Miami-Notre Dame at South Bend. It's ratings gold. They have the excuse of Bama having 3 losses.
This is about revenue, pure and simple. Cam's presence plus the Catholics vs. Convicts Narrative guarantees a Prime Time kick.
A UGA loss in the SECCG will affect Bama with the Colley Matrix.I agree Ole Miss is not in the conversation and don’t think USCe is either.
Ole Miss’ SOS is worse than UMs, they have more losses, and fewer top 50 wins.
Tennessee is seemingly a lock, but has a much worse SOS and fewer top 50 wins than UM. Hmmm.
Alabama has a good SOS and as many top 50 wins as UM but two bad losses (outside of top 40).
Miami has a weaker SOS than Bama but 1 fewer loss, as many top 40 wins, and it’s only losses are top 40 losses.
Colley Matrix has Alabama 5/1000 of a point higher than Miami with Bama at 11. It has Tennessee, USCe, and Ole Miss behind UM with Ole Miss at 24. Interestingly, it has Syracuse at 16 and Louisville at 23.
Wolfe has Miami at 11 and ahead of all the bubble SEC teams and Tennessee. He also has Syracuse and Louisville at 19 and 22. The other 2 major computer rankings systems favor the SEC teams over Miami.
Tough call for the committee.
Odds in Vegas are moving towards Bama. We’re toast fellas.
Not sure about that. Usually a bad sign.Means nothing. They're taking square Bama money from folks who think they're getting in just off name recognition.
