I don't disagree. But I think we might all be surprised to find out that Texas would be a 7-point favorite if they were playing Miami. Maybe a little bit more. Certainly not insurmountable.

Nah. The Miami vs Syracuse line went from -10.5 to -12. How’d that work out? And they’re way better at handicapping actual games vs what a room full of people will do.

I still won’t believe we’re in until we actually are, but the line movement today isn’t any indication of what’s going to happen. Someone I trust very much who models these things told me today Miami will be at #11. We’ll see.

I’d agree with you when it comes to a line on an actual game.

Something like this where there is a committee deciding the outcome - and the odds start moving - usually somebody knows something.

Hopefully your source is correct.

We’ll see. As I’ve been saying for 2 days, we’re either gonna be the last one in or probably the first one out. Gonna be very close.

Whoever runs that is a Miami fan, right? Feel like the one time I looked at it the whole feed was pro Miami stuff lol

It's really hard to look at Bama, USCe, or Ole Miss schedule and think they deserve to be in over Miami. We blew our chance and should be learning a very hard lesson but each one of those teams has a really, really bad loss (some cases two) and one more than us.

Miami's defense may be terrible but even with our terrible defense our collective team never managed to get blown out.

No idea but he keeps popping up randomly and whenever I see Miami it’s very pro Miami

The real Saban also said the 3-loss teams should be out. Referenced not only 3 losses but losses to .500 teams should matter.
 
I think we have to pull for SMU to win the ACC championship game because IMHO, SMU will get in the CFP playoffs before Miami
