Supposedly, we have those resources and not wanting to overpay for one recruit they flipped that was committed to us in Stubbs. They kept two legacies who were going there already. They didn't underperform on the field. Those wins against LSU and Ole Miss were huge for them and something to sell in regards to their future and DJ Lagway. They were predicted to win four games this year. They won seven and over performed. What we did in recruiting last year at 7-6 was more impressive. Based off their season and them having a bigger booster base than us they are doing what they should be doing.

A decent QB can make coaches look good and till this day even in the pros it gets OC and DCs job interviews and jobs. If they dont land anything on OL then yes he can struggle but if they have that built and their DL it should be a game we will be the underdog in when we play them.

Recruiting will be fine between both the portal and HS talent. I’m more interested in seeing how Mario moves at the QB position and if Dawson stays. I’m not as down on Guidry as most, as I’m big on continuity.
