Facts definitely seems like the highest bidder, I just hope we at least get even with the other teams so relationships can win out then

Yeah you see his interviews at SEC media days? Complete depression. He looks and seems miserable with college football and the path it’s heading. Not sure why any player would go to ole miss. They will never compete for anything and lane I’m sure would leave if he ever got a chance again in the nfl.

Fine by me. Copy and paste my post into either of those threads. My point being, you can’t say you’re going to sign the best DL class ever, knowing full well that all of those kids are going to require massive bags, and then when 80% of them go elsewhere, say you don’t have the money for the ones remaining.

Desperate times call for desperate measures. Time to open the wallets.

Agree wtih this. Kid has talent. But Breland, Stone (and Scott) are all more talented. If we can't afford two NIL auctions, I would stick to our reservation price on Franklin and use the money to land one of the others. JMHO... And we still need to put a lot of money on the table for one more edge, plus a top WR.

Hopefully something similar to Collin Simmons -> Elias Rudolph happens here. We lost out on an edge player and backed that up with another legit talent.

Lose out on Kam Franklin and open up those allocated slot for Breland or Stone.
 
If we miss on Franklin and Stone, we’re not serious about NIL for the time being.

It’s desperation time at DT. Forget Breland, that’s a real NIL war with A&M, Oregon and UGA lol. This is a second tier battle with OU and Ole Miss/Auburn. You can’t win out with either Stone or Franklin here, pfffft.

Also seems like we might be running third here now lol. We’ll see when Saturday rolls around, but if we are…our staff is getting absolutely played, and that’s concerning.

This cycle has been brutal for us as a whole. Not falling for it again. Staff has felt good many times before this cycle and repeatedly gotten egg on their face.

I’ll hope for the best, but not expecting either of these dudes to commit to the good guys.
