I’ve seen this movie lots of times

AU and then on Saturday we are gonna hear A LOT of last minute whispers from Miamis side, but he’s still gonna pick Auburn

Everyone thinks he’s going to Auburn now he will want to drum up some drama
Only thing left is for him to “accidentally” post him UM commitment video then quickly delete it

"Momentum" does not matter here. This is not a basketball/ football game. This is the bag game.
You can have a kid silently committed 5 mins before he picks up the hat and then u get a call with an offer and it's dueces for the most part ( there are exceptions).

I dont know who wins out here in this recruitment. I will say though it will come down to $.Whoever makes a final offer that is not matched/ surpassed will win.
If it's all about Bag what's stopping Auburn from just not upping their bag and just waiting for NSD to up the bag? And you can apply it to all recruits. This is why continuously matching bags in August just doesn't make the most sense. I mean I guess if your confident the kid isn't gunna play games and be fully locked in after committing, that's fine. But if a kid is going to the highest bidder, why would you want to be the highest bidder 4 months early?

Because if Miami wins this year, you run the risk of more high powered NIL donors who may be cautious right NOW upping the bag in December as well. Miami as of this moment is not tje hot team, they dont have the momentum they had in pre-season last year. You can skip upping the bag now and allow Franklin to go to UM but if Miami wins and more big guns join the NIL pot it will be that much harder to flip him.

So then you lose on the kid and we end up w something worse. We need talent to win esp w this coach. Do whatever it takes now to make life easier later on when you’re actually winning and can sell success
