Only thing I can think of is immediate playing time and the receivers Bama has stock piled in their class. Smith was committed to Richt while he was at Georgia. And Deejay mentioned an ace up his sleeve on NSD. I'm probably reaching here, but given our recruiting with receiver, I'm throwing the hail mary.

Some have mentioned that Smith's handler was with richt at georgia when he committed there but is with Alabama now and it's why they're the favorite.If true,game over.
