DAY 4 PRACTICE THREAD

Party of Jacory's problem is he was thrown into the fire way too early. Jacory is a kid that had a lot of potential, but the ONE main knock on him from the Elite 11 was that he did not know how to read a defense to save his life. He just has never been taught the more sophisticated mental aspect of the game. He needed time to develop with a good QB coach. Unfortunately, Marve got himself in Shannon's dog house, and because Shannon had taken SO many kids from MNW, and the pressure from the local community started, and Shannon turned to Jacory, who looked decent, and the QB controversy erupted. Marve was ALWAYS destined to lose that, as he was already in Shannon's dog house, and the locker room was clearly going to be heavy in favor of Jacory, as many of his own teammates were on the team, and other SoFla kids who knew him and thought highly of him.

Jacory, with a few years of practice and development, under a decent QB coach, could have actually been a pretty decent and productive QB. He didn't have a great arm, but he was never really given the chance to develop either.

Obviously Olsen is on the outside looking in right now. **** shame too. Because the way Kaaya is playing, he's at worst #2 right now, and only because of his youth. If/when RW comes back, Olsen will be down the list in 4th. So what does he do. The way he is now, Kaaya looks like he's going to own this thing by next year, if he isn't running it by mid to late season this year. So does he settle for competing to be the back up next year?

I think he's gone by Spring.

Start the heart attack countdown clock. That's a heart attack waiting to happen with that body.

you can see him at anthony's coal fire pizza in the gables, he's a regular.

Jacory Harris actually had a chance to be great until Whipple decided to throw deep every play. Aside from BC his senior year Jacory was actually the best QB we've had since Berlin.

Newsflash, Jacory choose to throw it deep. The play wasn't called JACORY NO MATTER WHAT BOMB IT.

There were OTHER WRS running OTHER ROUTES. He was a terrible decision maker.

Can't disagree but he was our last QB to beat FSU. Lol...man I thought we were ready to rip it up!

Exactly.

No offensive coordinator in history ever said " even if there's double coverage , just throw it".

Another good day for Brad Kaaya. Poised and working with the first team. Efficient drives vs. first-team defense.
Lets not forget how this defense made pretty much every Qb we faced last year look like Heisman finalists...
