Blame Randy Shannon for Chick having to hit the field before he was ready. He should be a sophomore this year. Half the current D shouldnt of started their freshman year.

Dude, Chick didn't ever play for Shannon man. No wonder you're a red rocket extraordinaire.

(I know what you mean re: depth but I just can't resist the troll)

He means that Randy's recruiting **** ups in '10 and '09 are the reason that kids like Chick and Perryman had to play from jump street

This. In a perfect world, they would of reshirted and saw limited playing time the last couple years. Chick is a SDE. He needs time to put on size (especially since he was around 230 as a freshman). Last year was disappointing but I think he bounces back this year.

R Scott will be the go to guy this year at wideout....Bigger and stronger...watch for the slant route...........also he is a good kid that got caught up in some sillyness, that's all.Do not worry about him being in trouble again.

Random Thought

I'm excited that we have many future pro canes on this roster....IMHO our starting OL plus Flowers will make it to the league. I think Walford will get there along with Morris, Dorsett, Hurns, Lockhart, and Scott. Of course Duke. I firmly believe we'll see these 12 players on Sunday's for the offense. Defensively Chickillo, Porter, Perryman, Howard, Bush, Jenkins are my picks of making it to the league. The TD streak that Miami has, has started again and I'll be glad to watch these guys make it. What do you guys think? or I should say who do you think will make it to the big leagueS?

One on one battles look incredibly weak..

Everyone was basically a stalemate

I didn't see this as a true 1 on 1. This was more a fit drill. Very rarely are guys going to go full tilt the first day in pads.

They were doing "board drills", without the boards. It's definitely full tilt. Everybody goes full tilt on the first day of pads.

Oh I know what a board drill is, but that didn't look full tilt as most of their other practices. And most schools are getting away from going full tilt, acclimation has been a buzz word around programs.

True.
