DAY 2 PRACTICE THREAD

I will go on record as saying I do not see what everyone else sees in Gray. He's a 4th string freshman at this point and I honestly do not see him taking a spot from the three in front of him....not sure why everyone is so up in arms other than the simple fact that he defied the odds to even get in to school. He still has to prove he has the goods to be that same elite player against the best of the best. And playing a position he has never played before...

All true, but went last seen on field when it counted, he was a 6'2" >200lb dude outrunning some of Dade's finest and fastest players. Ego, the excitement.

Not to mention the wiggle.
Aldarius Johnson was a 5 star recruit, and this kid Gray is much better.
Plus, he hasn't even touched his potential.
Wait until he actually learns how to play wide receiver. You know, the importance of route running, the tricks to get separation, how to use his big body as a huge advantage over corners who are 5'10" 185lbs.

Kid is going to be a monster for us.

I wonder if Golden has the guts to start Kaaya and tell Heaps to kick rocks. I doubt it.

gotta think Gray will drop some weight as he gets into game shape

215lbs is probably a good freshman weight for him

Let's see. Golden had the guts to stay here, when after he unpacked the only question he was asked was, "Do you think Miami will be playing football in a year?"

He kept His D coordinator, when 99% of the fans, who are ignorant 90% of the time! screamed for both their heads.

Took a lot of guts to stay here. You guys forget, when he got here he was pretty much the hottest young coach in College.

Not saying he will do it, but if Kaaya proves himself the best, I'm positive Golden will reward the performance.

ROFL. You're the guy who argued before that Golden doesn't start the best players. Unreal.

Don't care what anyone says…August is literally the worst and somehow the most hilarious month on these boards.

this.

I can't help but be excited with what I'm seeing from Handsome Brad, but.........greentree all american until proven otherwise.

That video speaks for itself.

Yea, it was just one throw with no pass rush and nobody playing defense.
True, but if the competition is close between kaaya and heaps I say just go with kaaya. I really want to move forward at the qB position and not have to rely on retreads. So if it's close and heaps is just slightly better than I say go with Kaaya. I said the same about Olsen and Williams.
