DAY 2 PRACTICE THREAD

Does anybody else think Kaaya's foot work looks bad? Good throws but he kind of double steps right before his release. Still has the rest of training camp however. If he can get good feet in the pocket and no look down a receiver he has a good shot.

How much of his footwork have you seen?

Go back and watch that video he mad where he is just out there with his qb coach dropping and firing passes.
His mechanics looked phenomenal in that video.

Al Golden said Trayone Gray is listed at 6-2, 208 but weighed in at 222 today. Doesn't know what future is (RB? WR?) but "happy he's here."

Al Golden obviously happy to have Trayone Gray on campus, said he expects to have Darrell Langham here on Friday.

Either way footwork is easier to improve then a wonky throwing motion. I remember hearing somebody at the Elite 11 say his upper body is as good as it gets.

Anymore of this positive buzz about Kaaya and Chocolate and MY length will really start to stand out.

Chad is going to do damage this season!!

I know it's just the second day of practice but did our defense look like this at any point in the last few years? They look hungry!

Sure as **** ain't no read & reacting going on in that picture

Just doing it a step quicker, either from athleticism or experience.
This is going to be interesting.
This defensive scheme played the right way, with the right athletes is the 49ers.
When you are missing the athleticism on all 3 levels it equals what we saw the last 6 games of last year.

Sure looks like we have the athletes and the beef over the ball.

I will go on record as saying I do not see what everyone else sees in Gray. He's a 4th string freshman at this point and I honestly do not see him taking a spot from the three in front of him....not sure why everyone is so up in arms other than the simple fact that he defied the odds to even get in to school. He still has to prove he has the goods to be that same elite player against the best of the best. And playing a position he has never played before...

Man, I liked this stupid *** porst by accident smh. Will neg u when I get the chance

Okay good, I've only noticed it in the GIF's of him throwing in the endzone drills today and the amazing throw he hit Berrios on yesterday. Didn't notice it in any of his old videos.

Interesting comment considering that length is one of Heaps' biggest weaknesses.

I just hope they pick one position with Gray and let him stick with it and not move him back and forth for 3-4 years.

Kaaya's going to start this year.
Just a gut feeling, but all the things you worry about with freshmen don't seem to be an issue with him.

All true, but went last seen on field when it counted, he was a 6'2" >200lb dude outrunning some of Dade's finest and fastest players. Ego, the excitement.
