I've been saying it since the summer...Kaaya is Coley's handpicked prodigy.

If the competition is close, you're going to see Kaaya starting right out of the gate. If he struggles they'll simply buy time til Williams makes it back....but here's hoping the kid runs with the job and never looks back. He looks like a really polished passer....I have a good feeling about this kid.

@PeterAriz let me know how Choc doing out there. Remember how hard i was pushing that kid. Explosive

I will go on record as saying I do not see what everyone else sees in Gray. He's a 4th string freshman at this point and I honestly do not see him taking a spot from the three in front of him....not sure why everyone is so up in arms other than the simple fact that he defied the odds to even get in to school. He still has to prove he has the goods to be that same elite player against the best of the best. And playing a position he has never played before...

Dude. Just watch his highlight tape. Most people here know when they see special. This guy can be special.

I only have a handful of posts so I know I don't have much credibility here, but I watched his highlight tape and have always felt more like frosty. Don't want to make it sound like the kid is terrible, but I just don't see the sure fire superstar that everyone else does. People talk about him the same way they do Dalvin Cook, and i just don't see that. Cook jumps off the screen, and at least to me, Choc doesn't. He's got a great story and I'm really rooting for him.

p.s. seems way more like a WR than a RB to me. I thought on signing day the coaches were saying he was coming in as a WR, but talk seems to be RB now? If so, my guess is it's only because of our lack of depth at RB.

Exactly how I feel. I think he'll be a great player, but I don't necessarily understand the HUGE amount of hype he's received. Also, agree on the WR part as well ... hope thats where he ends up.

Does anybody else think Kaaya's foot work looks bad? Good throws but he kind of double steps right before his release. Still has the rest of training camp however. If he can get good feet in the pocket and no look down a receiver he has a good shot.

Thanks, Kevin.
