DAY 2 PRACTICE THREAD

Practice should be at 8am to avoid weather delays

Everyone from Florida knows that it rains at 3:30 every Summer Afternoon.

Good thing our corches are from Jersey.

Why would we ever want to practice in the rain? It never rains during our games. These guys are idiots!

That is first rate sarcasm. Good work! There are pluses and minuses to practicing early and late. When the team works in the heat of the day, every day, it's generally an advantage come September and October when visiting teams come down and struggle with the heat where our Canes should be well adjusted to it. Not that we've seen that much the last few years....

Pages of posts about black cleats, pants above the knees, practice uniforms, numbers, stadiums not getting built, indoor practice facilities, and weather! When does Meechele come and correct the training menu?

Perhaps the day will come when it's all about football? :ohlord:

Don't want to scare anyone, but just saw Trayone Gray grab his right hamstring a little bit after running a route. Jogged it off, looks fine

And the only game we played in the rain last year, we looked as if we had never played in the rain before! Imagine that.

R. Williams to Coley:

I've got to think Williams will be ready sooner then later just watching that footage alone. He stepped back pretty quickly and put that ball on the money. I know it's much different with a pass rush but **** no way to tell get tore his ACL 4 months ago.

I will go on record as saying I do not see what everyone else sees in Gray. He's a 4th string freshman at this point and I honestly do not see him taking a spot from the three in front of him....not sure why everyone is so up in arms other than the simple fact that he defied the odds to even get in to school. He still has to prove he has the goods to be that same elite player against the best of the best. And playing a position he has never played before...

It is his first practice EVER, should he be first on depth chart?
