The committee would have had a riot if they excluded SMU who basically tied Clemson. The ACC got through to them after ******** us last year.

The picking of the play off has been referred to as entertainment value. I think Miami offensively has more entertainment value than most of these teams. Our season came down to a personal foul and a dumb field goal call in spite of our poor defensive play.

To be fair Boise lost to the #1 team in the country by only 3 points on the road and beat UNLV pretty handily and UNLV is no scrub.

They also struggled with weak Mountain West teams. They benefited from Oregon struggling early. I expect Boise to get bounced convincingly.

They were ranked way too high all season. It's equivalent to getting promoted for a schedule full of FCS schools. The committee did reward Alabama 3 spots for beating FCS Mercer. So, I guess Boise's overranking is justified.

2 teams wasn’t enough, 4 teams was too many in several years of the 4 team playoff, and 12 seems to be way too many.

The controversy is fun but I can’t say I have the slightest bit of interest in the Big 10/SEC invitational. Probably won’t watch a game
