I think I’m in the minority but I think Psu rolls SMU. They just faced a much better version of them in Oregon. As long as Allar doesn’t crap the bed Psu wins easy and then destroys Boise as well. That’s painful to type but I’m with Saban I think this time of year the bigger physical teams are going to start shining. All these teams are fast.

might sound crazy BUT UGA might give Oregon a problem. they have good athletes on defense

I think you might be right.

Look PSU had some bad calls against them last night. on that 4 and 2 Oregon converted their OL guy jumped early and the TE pushed off and got away with offensive pi

If only recruiting was the issue
It is ... Miami doesn't have anywhere near elite players on either side of the ball, especially defense (LB, S, DB, NT). Look at that Texas roster. Who from Miami even cracks the two deep?

Some other bowl projections include:

Syracuse vs South Carolina in the Taxslayer Gator bowl
1/2/25

Va Tech vs Minnesota in the Duke's Mayo Bowl
1/3/25

Louisville vs Washington in the Sun Bowl
12/31/24

Miami vs Iowa St in the Pop-tarts Bowl
12/28/24

A&M vs USC in the Las Vegas Bowl
12/28/24

alabama vs Illinois in the Citrus Bowl
12/31/24

BYU vs Colorado in the Alamo Bowl
12/28/24

That’s fine……but why do I NEVER see anyone telling Bama not to lose to TWO .500 teams including get blown out and manhandled all game by OU while scoring only 3?

I can handle the GT/‘Cuse critique, I’ve made the same one. But “just win” isn’t supposed to apply to one team and not the other. ****es me off. Happens on this board too.

What does that have to do with winning this “weak” conference?

We aren’t competing with Texas. We are competing with UVA, Syracuse, GT and Pitt. We recruit worlds better than all of them. Yet, we stumble against them all the time and can’t win the conference.

I’m not in a rush to a new conference to do the same
