Anybody know South Broward’s schedule for the upcoming season? I’d like to see if they play any of the better schools. The competition in their district is pretty weak. They didn’t play any of the power programs in Broward last year. That said, the dude averaged 17 yards per carry. Even against the weaker teams in the county, that’s eye popping. Also, his team sucks too. It’s not like they’re super talented and they overwhelm teams. He’s pretty much option 1,2 and 3 for them. As for his size. Not every college running back is an NFL running back. He’s fine as a second running back in this class.

only seen the hudl.

SBroward comp isnt good in my opinion

Coach at my high school mentioned him as a DUDE. Coach was an NFL lber vet and has no bias as hes a TenN Volunteer from LA.

Will see him live this year.

From film he reminds me of Lorenzo Booker from FSU. Who coming out of hs was all world...
Who is in their district now?

Why is everyone acting like we’re running some old school ground and pound offense where he will be expected to be a bell cow RB with 20-25 touches a game lol

This dude is a utility knife of a weapon and will be used as such…

Here’s another comp for him… Tony Pollard… his 247 profile had him at 5’10 and 170 coming out of HS

This.

All we heard about him in the beginning of his recruitment was how blazing fast he was; I asked for like 2 months about track times & it was radio silence...

Seems to me he's not really as fast as advertised & that probably brings him down quite a bit because its somewhat of a red flag for a kid with alleged Sub 11 speed to not run track for almost 2 years, especially in South FL HS.

Not saying that he can't improve on his speed as he gains more strength, its just odd to me that the first thing people say about him is how fast he is, yet there's not much evidence to prove it.

Kid would've done himself a huge service had he run track this year.

Your final sentence may be true. But I was also told he ran track as a freshman and was pretty **** fast.

I'm not trying to argue with anything you are saying, I've always thought that guys can improve on their speed by running track every year. But if he was blazing fast as a freshman, I don't think he suddenly got slower by NOT running track as a sophomore or junior.

Is this terrible for a freshman?

I love CWH's film - but he's 6-0 175 lbs.

For reference as to how skinny that is - 247 has 57 RB's in the 2024 class that are 6-0+. The only one under 180 lbs. is CWH at 175 lbs.

While the film looks great at RB - he's not built at all like a RB. So that makes him hard to project or rank highly.

Think Corn Elder as a comparison

Oh lord, here we go again with the misleading bshaw statistics.

The kid has a year to gain weight before he even enrolls, then he can add size once he gets to UM. People at that age grow at different rates, we are not trying to put a Hurricane uniform on the kid by October 21st.

Who is in their district now?
Krop, McArthur and Hollywood Hills. Not exactly murderer's row.

I have no idea who Doral Academy is and West Broward, Everglades and Douglas aren't tough teams. Miramar is very hit and miss. Sometimes they're loaded and sometimes they're average or worse. Not sure what they look like this year @gogeta4 knows though.

Maybe, but it’s quite obvious to see he fast af on the field and that’s all that matter. You don’t need to be a rocket scientist to see that. That’s why everyone in the area talks about and respects his speed.

Idk about “fast AF”, but he’s not slow.

Statistics on the high school level, especially in South Florida where they are self reported by their coaches, are unreliable. (i.e. the coaches lie)
And college scouts don't care about them anyway. 🤷🏻‍♂️
They watch the tape.

Regarding verified times...
I had a kid who's "verified forty" on his ESPN recruiting profile was 4.72.
When he got tested during his freshman year at Syracuse he ran an electronic 4.47. 🤷🏻‍♂️

The issue with the 40 times on the recruiting profiles is 👉🏻 you don't know when the 40 was run, what the field conditions were, what age the kid was, etc. A kid can run his "verified" forty at a camp during his 9th grade year and they never update it...so whatever that time was, it stays on his profile.

Something is off then…his tape, he shows blazing speed against legit comp, yet sites keep knocking it off outdated metrics?? Idk. Staff evaluated in person and loved him. Who knows…
Well that’s the reason he isn’t rated higher. He isn’t at a big school, didn’t go to camps and his times aren’t verified. He will get his chance to shine this season and if he does he will move up the rankings. He has a shot to be a 4 star for sure, will he is the question.

I never said he was slow, but there’s varying degrees of speed & I’m not just trusting that he’s this secret 10.5/4.4 runner that nobody but us knows about.

He’ll have his chance to show what he is once he gets on campus & continues to develop, but I’m not in the every “under the radar Diamond in the ruff!” prospect is an automatic Homerun just because they say he is.

Who did he play then?

Doesn't Dilliard play a typical SoFla schedule?

He didn’t play at Dillard. He played for South Broward. Outside of a handful of teams there are a lot of weak teams in Broward County because of so many transfers and bad coaching. That being said, you can’t get caught up in the stats. Most coaches can care less about that. The kid is athletic and can ball. A college weight program will only make him more dynamic.
