No offense to you, but I don’t go to David Lake for my player evaluations.
You seem pretty up to date and upset by his evaluations though. The kid apparently ran a 4.7 40 and speed is supposed to be his best attribute. I am fine with the take as an RB2 in the class but don’t see what others on this board see here. JMO.

Aren’t all his verified times from his freshman year? He didn’t run track last year. I think he’s more than capable of being an RB2 in this class and his consistent YPC average seems to show he gets the ball and explodes up field and is a big play opportunity every time he grabs it. An all around explosive player.

I hope so re: times being from freshman year. I honestly do not know.

I worry that his speed on tape is deceiving because he plays in a low classification against poor talent. Hope you (and others) are right here.
 
I’ll absolutely trust the staff on this one. You definitely take a kid like this all day, every day. We should have a spot every year for a local athlete who fits the athletic profile we are looking for regardless of star ranking. Roscoe Parrish types.
