Cracks me up how so many people on here say he is better than Emory. Emory did what he was supposed to do last year and got us a win at Clemson and had a chance to beat FSU until his injury. He only played against Ball St this year and lit them up, which he should do. We simply don't know what Emory brings to the table...maybe he's the 2nd coming of Ken Dorsey

Did you watch any of their games? He single-handedly tried to lose about 3-4 games with his interceptions.
He plays really well in stretches of games and really, really poorly in stretches.

Most of the UGA fans around here are not upset that Brock will be starting the playoff game and feel that Beck was too caught up with the money and fame. He is certainly not viewed at UGA as a worker in the mold of Stetson Bennett.
Beck had a ridiculous NIL deal and stock really dropped this season. He lost his all-world TE, favorite WR, RBs and OL regressed. Not a Bobo fan, either. How all this factored is anyone’s guess. But if healthy, he’s best available QB.
Yeah, he has an odd, distant demeanor and lost the UGA faithful. Everyone loves the backup. That said, curious to see how he holds up in playoffs.

The offense instantly looked better when Gunner came in versus Beck. That should be alarming to the pro Beck people. On top of him being a turnover machine.
c'mon man, that's not a good take lmao

this is his down year this year

yes 12 interceptions is bad, but beck is clearly the best.

also, here's a list of a ton of good qb's I'm sure you and everyone else on here would love to have on our team next year who have thrown more than 10 picks

Did u watch him play or just look at stats ? UGA fans can’t stand him lol. Watch the Seccg, they were dead when Stockton came in and they instantly started moving the ball. On top of him being mid he’s injured. So he’s very inconsistent , turns the ball over and has a significant arm injury. Sounds like the perfect guy for the CIS scouts lol. Give him all the monies !!!!

i watched 7 UGA games - you're using 1 example of when stockton came in to diminish someone who's easily a top 5 QB in the country

of course UGA fans hate him, they are spoiled and want to win every game. they'll burn down athens if they have to get used to losing 2-3 games per year rather than winning 20+ straight

you also said "turnover machine"

beck has less turnovers than cam did in his last season at Wazzu (including fumbles) - while playing significantly better competition

beck isn't ward, but it's not like beck is jameis and throwing 30tds and 30 picks out there

They scored more points in the second half and OT cause they ran for ~150 yards. Some of that was because Stockton a much better running threat than Beck. More of it was because they just blocked and ran better. Think they had negative rushing yards in the first half. I thought it was pretty obvious they didn't trust Stockton to do much more than dink and dunk in passing game.

Am curious to see if they're forced to turn to Rashada or Puglisi at some point next week. Cheeseburger man going to do everything he can to take away their run game.

Stockton opened things up because of his legs and the threat. Not sure what it matters if the offense was better when he came in. I mean Beck is the veteran. The veteran who looks bad just as much as he does good. He’s a walking rollercoaster.

I’d take Mendoza over Beck, but idk about Ewers. TBH I’ve never been that sold on Ewers, but he’s battle tested and has played some of the toughest defenses in the country, in the toughest environments.

Mendoza could have a higher ceiling though, on account of being a good P5 QB with very little talent around him. Meanwhile, Ewers has stacked talent around him.
