Beck is being graded on a harsh curve based on his preseason projection (#1 overall) and our QB this year (the best in America).
The guy would be a very good and experienced ACC quarterback, assuming his elbow bounces back like Brock Purdy.

Kid is inconsistent, looks brilliant one drive then the next one has you face palming.

That’s why it would make sense for him to change scenes under a new coach like Dawson. Show the nfl he can learn different offenses systems and tighten up his consistency. Our line and backs are above very good. It’s pretty good match for him if you ask me.
Did you watch any of their games? He single-handedly tried to lose about 3-4 games with his interceptions.3,400 yards 28 tds against the schedule they play and he sucks? Gtfoh. He’stake if he wants a change of scenery. He also has decent wheels.
He plays really well in stretches of games and really, really poorly in stretches.
Most of the UGA fans around here are not upset that Brock will be starting the playoff game and feel that Beck was too caught up with the money and fame. He is certainly not viewed at UGA as a worker in the mold of Stetson Bennett.

I don't deny that he's better than what we have on the roster, its just his consistency that concerns me but I do agree he would probably have good numbers in our offense and probably even better than what Mateer will end up with at Choklahoma

I watched 2-3 of his games and he seemed hot and cold. Would throw an absolute dime and then miss a simple slant or check down. Close ups of his face showed him get rattled several times.
It sure seems he’s in for a long recovery and no telling if he’ll even be available next year.

Smart seems to love him because he absolutely refused to pull him from games.
He was awful this year.

You're unsure how the starting QB of one of the Top 3 Colleges in America pulled a Cavinder twin? Especially in an era when players are getting openly paid.

He isnt going to be ready for next year. If that elbow isnt fully torn I'd be shocked.
I know JayCane mentioned one suggesting rehab. Anytype of tear needs some fixing.
If its a full tear just get the surgery, probably get drafted in the 4th-6th and get ready for 2026. If its a partial... maybe get lucky and be ready by September.
