I wasn't aware Cam was a Hesiman candidate before coming here. Also, looks like they're trying to do the same again... I wonder why?

Definite step back statistically from 2023 to 2024

Carson beck was viewed as the #1 pick in the draft in 2023. He had a down year in 2024 but he still had 28TDs 12INTs 3500 yards 65% in a Mike Bobo offense. I think a lot of you have 100% unrealistic expectations on what you expect from a QB. We’re not getting another Cam Ward, that’s just not going to happen. So anyone expecting anything close to that is delusional. A healthy Carson beck comes here and throws for 3000+ yards 30+ TDs easily and with more talent we win 8-10 games in the ACC. Sawyer Robertson is not better than Carson Beck, it’s not even close.

Cam was a heisman headed into 2024 before he signed with miami 100%.
He was the #1 portal qb and a huge upgrade. Yes miami should upgrade big anywhere they can including QB

You seriously think Miami, coached by Mario Cristobal, would beat a Kirby Smart led UGA? Cmon man. That head-coaching matchup alone would have UGA favored by 10+.

That WSU stat really shows that Dawson doesn’t get enough credit for how good this offense is. Sure, he could be more creative at times, especially with the running game and adding some misdirection but he’s done a solid job working with what he’s got. Next year’s performance is going to be really interesting.

UGA let GT score 27 before overtime. Do you think we have a better or worse offense than GT?

On the other side, UGA only scored 27 on GT. Is that really that far from the 23 we scored?

We get a one year rental that killed it and we start acting like a bunch of qb snobs.

Idgaf how good the qb is. We have bigger things to worry about.
The last 5 bcs winners didn’t have a qb better than cam ward. We sht the bed cause we don’t have a good enough team.
So yeah, qb is the most important position. But Marino made the Super Bowl once and lost.

We better get a a lot of talent if we want to be in the final four.

the Ohio state qb aint better than cam. And they’re still playing and we’re not.

So this qb desperation and anxiety should be focused at at least 3 other positions or we will be lucky to win 8 games next year because nobody that is or may be available is better than cam. The only way we’re gonna match or exceed this year’s win total is by building a roster full of talent.

Kirby Smart is not some sort of HC savent. He has won 2 NCs but it was not really due to him outcoaching the opposition but more just having a much more talented team especially on defense. However, this year's UGA is not as talented as those teams. Miami might not win but I'm pretty sure our offense would give them a game. Just like Miami may not have beaten PSU, OSU or Notre Dame in last week's playoff games because of the defense but they definitely would have made those games actually competitive.

Have to love Miami’s offense, but those defenses are better than anything we faced. Wouldn’t score at will.

His “awful” 2024 season would be the second best season for a quarterback in UM history after Cam’s 2024 season.

You absolutely kick the tires on Beck. If he’s healthy he’s a significant improvement over anyone we have. He’s not Cam Ward but he’s thrown for almost 8000 yards with a 58/20 ratio against SEC competition. People acting like he’s some kind of bum are on crack.

We could do a LOT worse. And I don’t know if we could do better.

and loses to Georgia Tech and Syracuse.
