Can't close Fire Banda

What’s sad is mfs knew Surtain/Campbell/Jobe wasn’t coming here all along and still let themselves get duped by fake insiders into thinking we EVER had a chance . Rumph coaching Campbell means next to nothing, these kids ain’t loyal to a **** thing and their parents encourage it .

We didn’t impress this cycle because we were 7-6 and looked like trash on the field . If we had a similar season in 2017 that ‘18 class would not have been as good it was trust and believe that
Are you saying Rumph is so dumb he spent lots of time recruitng kids who we had no chance with? Kids he knew personally! How awful.

Its hard to sell playing against GA Tech, UNC, Duke, Va Tech, UVA and Pitt every year in the Coastal against playing Bama, LSU, Auburn, A&M, Arkansas and Ole Miss every year in the West.

It’s funny tho..other than Quan you all would’ve considered those other as “jags”. At what point does a coach get credit for developing those guys and putting them in position to ball. Does rump not get credit for Adrian Colbert? The development of mike Jackson? The development redwine made in a year under Banda as a safety. The production rayshawn had in one year with Banda. And lastly what quan turned into
You’re misinformed. Jaquan was a local legend. Michael Jackson was a 4* on Rivals. Jamal Carter was a 4. Deon Bush was a 4. Artie Burns was a 4. Tracy Howard was a 5. Corn Elder was a 4. Rayshawn Jenkins was a high 3 (5.7 on Rivals). Golden even found Thurston Armbrister, who went to the NFL. Anyone who didn’t think those guys had talent must have been getting their information from mopes.

What kind of look would it be if he didn’t recruit them ? Then when they interview the kids and ask em about Miami they say oh well I don’t hear from them much so , yal would tall sht about the staff over that . You don’t just not recruit them

Did they? We lost out on our top 3 local DB prospects. It was a deep year and we got some good guys, but I would score their recruiting grade mixed.

those 3 went to Bama and UGA who have been better than miami for most of those kids lives (on average).

MJJ was a 3 star on 247 and in their composite site. rivals has been one of the worst recruiter sites out there and esp since 247 has taken over

Wow. He was a nobody only the largest rating service listed him as a 4* kid. Got it.

No your using revisionist memory..micheal Jackson was being pushed to transfer by this board when Richt and co took over. He was seen as deadweight in his own recruiting class to y’all. There’s a thread on that. Jamal carter was seen as a bust until Manny and co got here. Rayshawn Jenkins, same thing. Corn elder took his overall game to new heights under this D staff.

I’m not saying the guys golden brought that u named didn’t have talent. I’m saying at some point the coach get credit for cultivating that talent into producing on the field. Which this defensive staff has done. Those guys like Tracy, deon, would’ve produced more under this defensive staff because of player development and cultivating that talent into production on the field. Kid like bush or Tracy would’ve been 3rd draft picks with this staff because the on field production would’ve been better.

Y’all say that the offensive staff had talent but couldn’t coach or develop it properly. The defensive side is developing their guys but y’all want to fire the secondary staff who produced the 2 best pass D in college football...y’all are star whores and idiots

247 has been better than rivals since they've gained their footing.
Ah, wonderful retort. So the larger, more established site rated him a 4* but the site you like more rated him a 3*. Got it.

Incidentally, how do you measure ‘better’? Are you saying their ratings are proven to be more accurate? Because it sure looks like Rivals did a better job of evaluating M. Jackson than 247 did. Wouldn’t you agree?

Golden pulled tracy howard and deon bush despite sanctons.

All you got is excuses.

Pat Jr was a higher rated recruit than Tracy and went to a team that has won (3 more titles or so) since 2011. Also, Tyson was ranked far higher than Deon as a recruit. HE went to the team that recently played for a title (he went the year they played for one). in fact tyson and pat are both ranked higher than tracy as recruits

The Golden staff recruited DB well at first but then fell off a cliff. And that's ignoring the lack of development once they got here. We put up a goose egg in 2014 and totally botched 2015. Paul Williams let guys like Fenton leave and ignored Redwine until the end. It was the same thing as the end of the Shannon era. We left the cupboards bare for the new guys.

Banda got here and turned Jamal Carter and Rayshawn Jenkins from washouts into NFL players. Rumph took someone else's trash (Colbert) and made him into an NFL player. Corn Elder took a massive leap. The next year, they turned Redwine and Jackson from afterthoughts into NFL players.

That's their track record. We focus on the misses instead of the fact that we have a highly recruited group of DBs on campus and coaches who can develop them.
