Can't close Fire Banda

What they both can do is coach, i'd rather have top notch coaches, when you got the #1 pass defense in college football they know what they are doing. Who cares who didnt sign here, celebrate the ones that do and didnt allow themselves to be bought out like that!
Fans who want the program to be better than it has been the past 15 years.

That pass defense was led by Jaquan, Jackson and Redwine, moreover. All Golden recruits.

His first safety duo was Rayshawn Jenkins and Jamal Carter. Both were headed to the CFL. Now they are in the NFL.

His second safety duo was Jaquan Johnson and Sheldrick Redwine. Quan was a good player who became an All-American. Redwine was a JAG corner who became an NFL safety.

That’s his track record so far.

Stevenson could have been an AA safety up for awards with Banda... Instead he settled to be an avg poodle CB in Georgia.

They had a great DB class in 2018, but missed some big notable targets that made the optics bad. And didn’t impress this cycle.

It’s still premature to want to fire guys who coach one of the best defensive backfields in the country.

I’ll take your premature and tell you that it’s flat out stupidity

That backfield you talk about was manned by Golden’s kids. None of our current coaches recruited Jaquan, Redwine or M. Jackson. They inherited Rayshawn, Elder and Carter, too. Golden left the DB locker stocked, amazingly enough.

Every time Rumph misses out on a recruit @gogeta4 and company goes 0-18 pages mode bashing Rumph which is well deserved but don’t have nothing to say about the Panda missing out on most of his recruits

Yep. Just want people to keep the same energy when they want to bash about recruiting misses.

You’re an impulsive fan. That’s fine. There’s a reason Manny didn’t fire them.
I’m impulsive??!!..no y’all are the definition of impulsive. Y’all want to fire a coach for a 17 yr old kid choosing to go to another school. A school who if were being honest most kids or NCAA pundits will say is on more stable footing as far as competing nationally. Didn’t “miss”. Surtain chose bama. Campbell chose UGA. Stevenson chose UGA. Battle chose bama..yet we’ve yet a top notch secondary the last 2 years. Turned Jroc and Jenkins into pro prospects in a year. Turned quan into a AA. Turned redwine into a all acc safety. And will do the same with the young talent currently on the roster

It’s funny tho..other than Quan you all would’ve considered those other as “jags”. At what point does a coach get credit for developing those guys and putting them in position to ball. Does rump not get credit for Adrian Colbert? The development of mike Jackson? The development redwine made in a year under Banda as a safety. The production rayshawn had in one year with Banda. And lastly what quan turned into

they get the job done on the field.
The job of a college assistant includes more than onfield coaching, and there are other people who can both coach and recruit. Whats really shameful is that we have TWO assistamt spots allocated to DB, amd NEITHER can recruit. Pathetic. It’s literally half our defensive assistants and they suck at recruiting, and its the one position we should have our best recruiter at because it is the biggest so fla local strength to leverage.

What’s sad is mfs knew Surtain/Campbell/Jobe wasn’t coming here all along and still let themselves get duped by fake insiders into thinking we EVER had a chance . Rumph coaching Campbell means next to nothing, these kids ain’t loyal to a **** thing and their parents encourage it .

We didn’t impress this cycle because we were 7-6 and looked like trash on the field . If we had a similar season in 2017 that ‘18 class would not have been as good it was trust and believe that

they recruited pretty well last year when we went 10-3.

Stop it , nobody was calling it stocked after Golden left until those players were developed
