Can't close Fire Banda

Everyone has an opinion . I see your points. I think he is good coach just a bad recruiter

Very true. I think he gets overated by going against a bunch of garbage QBs and WRs in the coastal. I think if he had to play in the Pac 12 or big 12 or SEC he would get exposed on a weekly basis by quality QBs.

Has anybody ever thought to fill our on field staff with recruiters and let the “off field” guys who teach positions to coach them up? Like why is Rumph allowed to recruit when all he’s good at is coaching? He can do that in an off field role at practice and on the sidelines.

Say whatever you want about being a technician and coaching, but the staff isn’t just the 10 guys “on field”

Banda is a sucker. No other way to spin it. It’s not a good look when our most “aggressive” recruiter on Defense can’t close, gets played constantly by these kids and goes insane on routine football plays during games. Amateur hour.

Your definition on “well” is different than mine. The Jobe situation itself was an embarrassment considering he went to visit the weekend prior to Jobe signing with Bama. No excuse to close this poorly in a year you’re Top 5 in the league and sending kids to the league. I don’t care what the Offense did or didn’t do,

This I know.

A lot of you have unrealistic expectations at this time.

You want to point to the big losses. If we weren't recruiting them, you would *****. You ***** when we swing and miss. If we didn't prioritize them, you would ***** then as well.

You ***** when we lose a recruit to UGA who almost took down Bama two years in a row.

You ***** when we lose a recruit to Bama. Do I need to say what they have done?

Clemson, same as above.

FSU, **** isn't peaches over there. They have that large college campus that most of the top programs have and FAMU right there. UF, same as above and at least for them, they're showing signs of life.

The list goes on. I get it, backup plans for the boss *** players. We can do better.

The bigs though, we gotta show uo big on gameday. Banda may be a great coach, but while his resume is growing, it is still short. He's an easy target. The whole program is. They will point at the record. They will point at the big studs leaving. They will say I say you should join our class with all the other boss *** players. Come here win a championship. Why take a chance on that staff.

Hope Manny can turn it around come game day, but he has his work cut out.

The program is demonstrating that the administration is perfectly content with being UVa, UNC, or Wake. Don't get into trouble and let us cash ACC checks.....

His first safety duo was Rayshawn Jenkins and Jamal Carter. Both were headed to the CFL. Now they are in the NFL.

His second safety duo was Jaquan Johnson and Sheldrick Redwine. Quan was a good player who became an All-American. Redwine was a JAG corner who became an NFL safety.

That’s his track record so far.

Cool story. Now what’s his recruiting track record?

Why do people think the ACC sucks?

I've never understood this argument. It's no worse than every other P5 conference.
I'm talking this year specifically the ACC & the offenses we played against were horrid. We puffed up our chest and told everyone we were a top 1-3 defense in the nation. And yes I'm well aware dementia Richt did no favors by going 3 and out every 36 seconds. But if you look deeper, you'd see 7-5 Wisconsin with a lacrosse playing QB drove down the field on the 1st and 3rd possessions... which had very little to do with the D being tired.

Going back to last year, we faced a few QB's semi worth a **** and Toledo, Virginia, Hornibrook, Bryant put up video game stats.

You’d think this would start to be compelling. I mean all of Rumph’s corners are also in the NFL too. I’m fine with Miami closing with Db’s from the storm18 class consistently and then our DB coaches getting them right, but we can’t have anymore classes like this. And the reason it’s like that is because the offense averaged 12 points a **** game.

I'm sick and tired of some if you fans talking about coaches can close. The problem is half of the true fans talk crazy to these recruits via social media. Some of you should try to recruit for these coaches and heard the bull these recruits and families say! My son was a decent recruit, but didnt have the height to go to some of the big schools but his friends did. These schools uses other kids to get the elite talent to their schools to offer the other kid, this is why some schools get spurn by plan b kids.
