Canes ranked 12th tonight

Dammit man.. I’m numb to the fact of this program letting me down. But my son who is 7 just asked if we made it … I told him no..and he quietly walked upstairs in tears. I asked what’s the matter? He said “I really wanted to see Cam Ward again”. Did I curse him when I made him a fan of our fateful Canes? 😕
You like EPL make him an Everton fan.

It doesn’t hurt as much when you settle it with yourself that the committee was going to shaft us even if we had lost in the ACC title game. I 100% believe that. I’m not buying the BS they spew about conference title games not taken into the equation. They only said that to protect UGA in case they lost to Texas and has 3 losses. Only 1 ACC team was getting in. That is clear.

I expected the committee was going to treat the VT game as a loss. Cal was a scrappy road win but having to win at home on a ref’s call was effectively an L in their eyes. And while we loved seeing UM go into the 4th quarter tied with bad teams and then pulling away to win by 2-3 TDs, the committee did think it was as impressive as we did.
This right here is why they need to standardize how teams get selected as much as possible. Imagine you get an 81 on a test, and a committee decides to "treat" your 81 as a C, but another guy in class gets a 78 and the committee decides to "treat" his 78 as a B because he belongs to a preferred frat?

He had the best year of his youthful by going to every home game. This sucks cause he does not how to set realistic expectations in others yet. He thinks the Dolphins and Canes will be champions every year lol
oh my god you made him a dolphins fan too???

At least he has his father to thank and bond with over the misery. My dad isn't a huge sports guy, so I fell in love with miami and the bears. I chose to inflict this on myself.

Texas beats UGA hurts Bama
SMU beats Clemson hurts SEC
Unlv beats Boise st helps ACC

Very small chance. Thus, go Clemson to ***** Bama

The chairman already said that if SMU losses, they could potentially fall behind Bama. Tis a joke.

I think we're being a bit harsh on Mario, and I've been one of his biggest critics since Day 1. He is an awful game day coach (tho he's gotten better). I question the toughness of his teams (soft as baby **** and rife with boneheaded penalties). And he can't win **** in November.

I'm not saying he is off the hook for these losses, but he has absolutely been an upgrade over Manny Diaz. There's no comparison there.

He has improved record wise each year and been quick to address the previous years deficiencies.

These monsters aren't built overnight. It took Harbaugh almost a decade to deliver, and he had his salary cut and everything before he got to that point.

I know we all want a quick return to glory, but that was never in the cards.

Make no mistake, this year was a COLOSSAL waste of an opportunity. No way to sugar coat that. And we should be angry af.

But we need to be realistic, too. We're ahead of schedule.

1. Get a new DC
2. Hit that portal HARD to revamp the defense
3. Secure the best available QB (translation: tamper)

Next year's schedule is VERY manageable.
