Cam Ward finishes a distant 4th in the Heisman

This was the correct order. Had to to undefeated and could have. Didn’t. It’s not his fault but he had a game losing fumble and couldn’t get it done in a do or die. Don’t get the outrage
Amazing how our "Fans" hold our players to a higher standard than they do EVERYONE else. Caleb Williams didn't play on an undefeated team, Jayden Daniels played on a team that lost THREE GAMES in the regular season. No one cared.

I've said it once and I'll say it again: Our fans are the worst. Bar None. Cam had more than a compelling case, but he didn't have a gimmick. If you would have taken his stats and accomplishments and put "Senior QB from the University of Georgia" after his name, he would have been in the hunt, and maybe won it. Cam didn't have a gimmick, and narratives win the Heisman, not actual production. If it was about production, Jeanty would have won it, and he didn't.

But when it comes to a popularity contest the QB on the undefeated #1 team in the country has an advantage...
This is where losing to GT and Syracuse killed Cam's chances... Win those two games and Cam is sure fire Heisman winner... If Gabriel has Cam's numbers he more than likely is holding that trophy.
It shouldn't have to be that way but it just is whether we like it or not....

I don’t necessarily have a problem with Cam not winning it, but I do have a problem with him finishing behind Gabriel. He never has been and never will be a better QB than Cam and I have no doubt that will prove itself at the next level.
This is pretty much where I'm at. Finishing behind Gabriel is completely absurd.

Y’all forget when they made McGahee and Dorsey split the votes. Ward had no shot. He could have had 50 TDs and still not gotten it.
They don’t make anyone split votes. The reason they say Dorsey and McGahee split votes was because Heisman voting is very regional. The players from the south get most of the votes from voters in the south the players from out west get all the votes from out west. When there’s multiple players from the same area, all the votes from that area that usually would have gone to one player get split between the two. So while Eric Crouch got every vote from the Midwest, half the southern voters voted for McGahee and half voted for Dorsey.

I watched this and to honest the complete ceremony was a joke, every single person there knew who was winning it.
They were kissing Travis’s and Deion’s *** as soon as it started.
Sad, they should just do away with this award as well.

Say what you want, but Deion is Don King of cfb. He does a master PR job compared to boring Mario

Th inconsistency of Heisman voting becomes easier to understand when you realize that the people voting for the award don’t know anything. Imagine, sports journalists know nothing about sports. Remarkable to have to say but it’s true.
