In a few months Ward is going to get a rookie contract worth more than 35 million. He was looking at being a 3rd/4th rounder around this time last year. Took a chance that going to UM would elevate his draft status and it paid off. That means more to me than whether he was 3rd or 4th in the Heisman.

If we get Mateer, I think he ends up being a #1 or #2 pick overall. That would be two top 3 qbs in a 3 year span and I think we will have re-earned the title of QB U.

to finish 4th behind Gabriel. they did it to embarrass Cam and Miami

Always Sunny Reaction GIF

Dude - if they wanted to embarrass Miami they would just have not invited him and made some G5 nobody the other invitee. No one really gives a **** who the 3rd or 4th place winners were and the order wont be remembered 3 years from now. People will simply remember he was a Heisman candidate and that is awesome.

Is anyone that surprised? The logic of Gabriel over Shedeur is exactly the same and Shedeur had very similar stats to Cam. At the end of the day, Miami fell out of the playoff picture and took Cam's chances down with them. I think Cam is more than happy with his overall experience at Miami and hopefully adds this as one more chip on his shoulder. He'll be a better pro than Gabriel.

Once you are awake to the propaganda in this society you will start to see it everywhere. Marketing is 100% propaganda. ESPN is no different than CNN. MSNBC fox etc. it’s just the sports side of the propaganda machine. Hunter had this thing wrapped up the second we lost to GT if not weeks earlier. Think about how many people repeat the Sec is better crap, they have been conditioned over time. That’s through propaganda.

Is it too far to say the defense lost cam the heisman? There’s no logical reason to put Gabriel over him other than him quarterbacking the undefeated #1 team in the country. Cam seems to be the only player there that was negatively affected by the perception and play of their supporting cast.

I have never seen anything like this in Heisman voting. They prop up everyone with hype, and completely ignore the actual product on the field. Ward had Heisman moments **** near every game. He elevated his team more than anyone other than maybe Jeanty, who himself deserved it FAR more than Hunter.

Sanders is the king of hype. He was as a player, and is an even bigger one as a coach.
Sanders is Don King to Travis.

Insane how easily people are manipulated by media. Shame, that.

Stupid, Hunter is an average WR and an average DB that plays both.

This is going to set the stage for players to try and do this stupid crap going forward. What a joke.
That’s my opinion also. Average to above average at both, superior in terms of endurance.
