buzz heading into saturday

This secondary is still the one concern based off articles and people we all listen too.

But I'm hoping this defensive line is as good as the reports are saying because the secondary isnt going to have to guard for 5-6 seconds and have qb's just standing in throwing darts. They are going to be running for their lives at times.

I also love the idea that if we are up mid to late 3rd quarter our OL is going to potentially just wear you down to the point you can do nothing. Then a 7-10 pt lead becomes 14+ and clock just gets eaten up. We all want 50pts a game but in tough match ups ill take the 34-20 type wins where LB's and DB's want no part of our backs because they are getting 3-4 yard starts.
That’s not true, secondary ballin

Oh Lort, if they looked as good as he says, and against as good a DL as he says, then I hope they decide quickly on the starters and stay away from the hallmark of seasons that produced 1-11 in bowl games with musical chair OL seasons. Decide and have them compete for and learn a position, the more you move them, the more it requires a reset.

UM’s offensive line is doing a good job in protection for the most part, but that pocket doesn’t last for long with this defensive line. Ward’s ability to extend plays is where he is special—and different from what the Hurricanes have had at the position over the past decade.
God I hope we hang 50 on the gaytors

... just blatantly false lol.
Theres a difference between being able to, doing it from time to time, and always doing it. Emory is in the always camp.

There's nothing"blatantly false"about my post; it wasn't responsive to how often they throw with or without the laces, just the fact that many QBs do.

You said the screenshot was "ridiculous" based on his grip, but other than that image you provided no objective data or performance critique to support your belief that (1) he ALWAYS throws that way or (2) gripping the ball without laces significantly impacts his play. Did you even watch the clip?

You also say "there is a reason 99.999% of QBs are using laces"; but is that even a real data-point or did you make it up? And do 99.999% of QBs throw with laces 100% of the time?

You speak with such certainty using "ALWAYS" & 99.999% but really have no objective data to support either assertion.

How about watch the clip and then use it to illustrate how Emory's grip impacts his play.
