Are your doubts about James Coley over?

We executed poorly at times but that was no fault of one James Coley. He was masterful today.

Today was his best called game yet. Another poster mentioned balance. It was beautifully balanced. Going forward we can do without the little jet sweep shovel pass thing... but that is nitpicking. Off topic, but did Herb get as much as a target today?

This. He obviously wants to prove himself as an OC and unlike Fisch, isn't resorting to gimmicky formations or trick plays. He could have stayed at FSU, but he knew he'd get no credit for Winston's success because Jimbo wouldn't let him call plays.

He has a philosophy, run Duke and play action to our great WR's.

Hagens contributed today.

We can score in the red zone with Crawford, he's shifty and sneaky.

Walford's legit.

The OL was solid.

Great win and lots of kudos to Coach Coley.

Is Coley's time with Jimbob/FSU/Jamie of any advantage to us come November 2?

Certainly won't hurt by any means. Im sure jimbo will have a separate game plan to throw at our D then what coley has seen though. He still knows what tendencies jimbo prefers and he knows the players and their strengths and weaknesses which is big imo

love that the guy is not being cute with this offense, those stupid trick plays at the wrong time...Pistol looked good as well. So many weapons and they are utilizing them!

He's using Fish's playbook, so that's Fish's pistol offense.

Everything I've heard and read is that he kept Fisch's terminology, but the playbook is Coley's. Coley has said that they kept some of the old stuff that he liked, but it remains that the playbook is his.

According to Picksix, James Coley is running the same exact offensive plays as Jedd Fisch's so whats the debate about?

Moar screens to Coley and Waters and less to Dorsett and Hurns.

Hurns is one of our best run after catch guys. He usually makes the first guy miss or simply just breaks a tackle. Morris threw a ball behind him that actually ended being designated a run and he got 13 yds weaving in out of traffic. That guy gets it done.

I think he's in a groove. He's also unrolling a lot more formations and looks as the guys get more comfortable.

The pistol is great, we had a lot of nice power runs from it with a pulling guard. We even came out a few times with Hagens and Duke in the backfield for it. **** was crazy.

Anything that scores points, I'm all for. I think we punted once yesterday. Coley is that ***** until further notice.

I love the pistol so much... I actually hate when we lineup under center

Coley has done a masterful job these last two games this is the best we have looked at anytime under fisch...

U know he's saving something for FSU.... In the words of Bart Scott... Can't wait

Cute... Funny how a supposed grown *** man can't have differing opinions with somebody on a message board. And then when you don't agree you make **** up? Weak!

He's good with me.

Doesn't give a **** about proving how smart he is with clown-car ****.

Doubles-down on the run when it's working and we need to grind. It's what many of us wished Fischbulb would have done.

Lol Picksix thinks the phrase "agree to disagree" can be used even when one side of the argument is 100% wrong. lol stupid.

Go ahead and tell everybody in this thread how James Coley is using the Jedd Fisch offense that Al Golden told him to create.

No, that's not what Picksix said or thinks. Picksix said Fisch designed a playbook for Miami and that Coley has taken things from it and added to it. If you don't agree with my opinion then tough ****. Nice to see you ladies having me on your minds on a Sunday morning though. LOL! GD you two need to get a life.

You mean wrong "In Your Opinion" correct? I've seen the light Zone3nole! You're right! Coley came in and learned the terminology but scrapped the entire playbook to install his "resume" from FSU and FIU. Thank you for helping me come to my senses. What a brilliant move by Golden hiring such an offensive genius to install a brand new offense in year number and Morris's final year at QB.

Is that better tard?

Offensive play calls were on the money yesterday. Can't wait to see him mix in even more Tight End routes and also more screens. Very exciting.

Pickboogers acts like this is a matter of opinion when it's clearly a factual issue. There's no opinion on this. He's wrong and continues to get purple ears over it, and that's funny.
