for what is worth..some of you know I have a good friend that his brother is a area scout for the Falcons....he was the one that told me ( that I shared on here) the Lamar Miller was a good BIG back that runs like he is 180lbs..and Duke Johnson is a smaller back that runs like he is 215 lbs..This was when Duke was 185 his senior year at Norland, he said Duke would be the best player in college at RB in 2014, 2015...anyway

He told me this weekend at a concert we all attended that AQM is a must have, and that Julio Derosier is better than people have graded him for...he said Derosier is a Derick Morgan type kid that played at GT just taller and as quick....he said he has very long arms and great size for what we need...

I asked about our D and what he thought of Chick etc...
Chick is great, but needs to be better at point of attack..he chases plays instead of staying engaged and then making the play..he sheds the blocker to early and the ball carrier see that and teams know that??

Porter could be a 2nd round pick with a solid year..his body yells 1st round..

Bush is as good as any DB in the country..just needs help upfront..said he could lead our team in tackles

perryman is our best LB yet feels he would have 3rd string on most other Miami teams..he said LB is a larger issue than DL ( HIS WORDS)...

anyway its always fun to speak with him..he actully gets paid to know things not guess at them

also said OSU was his favorite to win the ship this year...lots of talent he said

Smh yeah jus bc Perryman would be third string if ray lewis, Vilma and Beason were still playing doesnt mean that LB is a weakness for our d. It just mesns miami has historically great linebackers. Perryman would start for most if not all current cfb teams.

Like I said his words..He said LB is about production...We all know DP has not been healthy a high ankle sprain is very very painful..he needs more than one sack and 65 tackles a year we all agree to that...I see a huge year ahead if he stays healthy ....

so who would you want more..DP or EJ if you had your choice..
 
Even when UM is stacked, their back-up LB's have been the likes of Darrel McClover and the Weaver Twins. I can see him not starting on some of the vintage UM squads, but 3rd string?

I liked how the two complimented each other and i wish EJ didnt have mental issues but if u pick EJ over DP then u are going to end up with nothing.

The bad news keeps on coming as Ohio State's national championship hopes took a significant blow Monday with the dismissal of starting running back Carlos Hyde and the weekend arrest of starting cornerback and Thorpe Award candidate Bradley Roby.

Hyde, a senior, is named as a person of interest in an on-going assault investigation. According to a police report obtained by Eleven Warriors, the victim of the alleged assault was struck at Sugar Bar located on Front Street in downtown Columbus in the early morning hours on Saturday.

In the Buckeyes' 12-0 season last year, Hyde accounted for 1,021 total yards – 970 yards rushing – and 17 touchdowns.

According to a report from the Columbus Dispatch, Roby was arrested in Bloomington, Ind. and faces preliminary charges of battery resulting in bodily injury. Sources told the Dispatch that he was "asked to leave the bar after a disturbance, refused, and was subdued by bouncers at the bar before being taken into custody."

Back on point...we are headed in the right direction..we cant control who gets in and who cant...but look who was here and how they have improved, I like what I am reading and hearing...
 
I love Perryman, he may not be Lewis, Vilma or Morgan, but the kid is a baller and hits like a mack truck. With improved DL play, he could easily be All-ACC.

Nobody will be Lewis and Morgan. Those two were once in a generation type players. Sean spence reminded me of vilma. IMO the best comparison for denzel is beason which, though not ray Lewis, is a comp that would flatter most players.
