They don't know. But that's the narrative they have to invent to be able to attack the administration. Is it possible that the other kid did start it? Yes. But we don't know. Is it possible AQM started it? Yes, but we don't know. But only one of the two unknown possibilities fits their agenda, so they go with that one.

since it was at the spring game, i think that constitutes campus authority since its their event and their jurisdiction (just giving an opinion). my friend got banned from UM games his sophomore year that season bc he accidentally spilled beer on someone and was taken to the OB jail.

Barry jackson said that AQM claimed self defense but witnesses gave conflicting statements regarding the self defense argument. I'm just repeating what was reported. maybe if u followed some of the beat writers, you'd know the actual details that have been released so far

Muhammad told UM that he hit the roommate in self-defense, according to UM athletic department person. There were conflicting statements when witnesses were interviewed.
