AQM give me facts

If both kids were punished I wouldn't be as mad, but they weren't, just like the lacrosse player that got beat up by EJ was not punished.

If you instigate a fight and get your *** kicked, you should not be absolved of responsibility. That's what seems to be happening in these cases and it's bull**** whether it involves a football player or not.

What exactly happened? How do we know the other kid instigated the fight?

Someone said he did even though thst person doesn't know much more than u or I.
No one knows exactly what happened, but I highly doubt aqm started it and proceeded to pummel this kid for ***** and giggles. I have zero doubt the other kid started **** and aqm finished it. If you're gonna punish one, punish both.

As I posted in the WEZ, I put a dude in an ambulance outside the Mahoney cafeteria my junior year. He was a mouthy **** who started with me, but I busted him up pretty good (could've exceeded simple battery). All I had to do was talk to a few deans and go on UM probation for a semester. Suspension from school was never even discussed.

It's unreal this guy gets a year suspension for a fight, and even more mindboggling that his fate would be in the hands of larval pillowbiters like the ones talking down to people in this thread.

the key here was. you didn't try to hide what happened.. or lie to them . (not saying AQM did) but when "conflicting stories" pops in the picture you are looked at as someone who will do this again.

I told the Dean to his face that I'd do it again given the same circumstances.

I also graduated from UM and I can also verify other UM students getting in fights and doing some serious ***** (much worse than AQM's tragression), and none of the students received a semester suspension.

AQM got railroaded.

Why though? Have you heard this somewhere?

Do u know aqm personally? U just said no one knows what happened but then you said you have zero doubt aqm didn't start it. I would love to hear what actually happened and not just what some ppl think happened. This thread and argument is getting old and pointless without all the info

Back when Andre Johnson cheated, I'm pretty sure he went in front of the same honor council and got suspended for the summer semester. That was the right call. Now there's dweebs and this whitely character being vengeful toward AQM because he's a football player. Disgusting*

So I have tried to read the couple of threads on AQM but still not sure what the final outcome is. IS he on the team or not? Is he suspended for a semester and will he be back next year? thank you in advance. GO CANES!

He is not enrolled this fall. He is suspended this fall and will be able to return in spring. He isn't kicked off the team and will not lose a year of eligibility. Similar to the notre dame Golston outcome regarding his academic fraud

Thank you very much.

The lax kid that got EJ kicked off provoked it and had plans to transfer prior to the incident even taking place from what I know. Unbelievable a college kid rats out a kid in a fight like that and gets him kicked off the team. Seems like a real ***** move if ya ask me

Agreed. Personally, you have an issue then settle it off campus and don't complain if you get hurt.

There is a galactic difference between academic fraud in college and fisticuffs with another student. Academic fraud is destroys the underpinnings of the institution and is diametrically opposed to the mission of the university and fighting, quite simply, isn't. It is understandable that Golston was dismissed from school as pretty much everyone who gets caught cheating in college is suspended for some period of time, but that is not the case for fist fights. I don't know what happened between AQM and the other person, but almost everyone who has attended college has a story about students getting into a fight and not getting suspended from school.

Lol just meant the punishment is the same.

Lol just meant the punishment is the same.

But the crime (in the eyes of the institution) isn't the same.

Yes I know. I was referring to the punishment Golston received bc ppl keep saying on here he was kicked out of school, which isn't the real truth. He is allowed to return unlike figs and blue who were dismissed completely.

They don't know. But that's the narrative they have to invent to be able to attack the administration. Is it possible that the other kid did start it? Yes. But we don't know. Is it possible AQM started it? Yes, but we don't know. But only one of the two unknown possibilities fits their agenda, so they go with that one.

How exactly..or is the meaning of that phrase too confusing for you? Like I said, it could be an unfair suspension, it could be totally fair. Don't have the info. Neither do you.

Yeah, it's too confusing for me. Why don't you dumb it down for me some more, c0ckface? The info I based that comment upon is that you spend the bulk of what little life you have here, defending Shalala and Coach Bonnie Grape at every turn. I'm in possession of that info, and it makes your exhortations for objectivity look ridiculous.
