it was a jokeRagone??.....He'll Nah to the 2nd Degree....if ANYONE reminds of Nate on the field...it'd be Rod Carter....
I hope so....Lol....Jesus.....it was a joke
The shade wasnt directed at you. You did a great job with a task that would be considered impossible. It was to alot of posters who are bringing up names like recruiting just started in the year 2000. LOL.When I tried to make a team that’s the 4 LBs I chose. I tried to keep the honorable mentions short as the list of RBs could go on and on forever. But to me Gore is the best I’ve ever seen and a lot of the older guys say Miles is the best ever so I listed those two as my 1st team RBs.
I listed Duke Johnson as my ATH he tore up the playoffs his last year at Norland and became a 5* recruit. Troy Davis was as good as any RB in Dade history not named Miles/Gore and he should’ve won the Heisman in 1996. I really wish he would’ve been a Cane.
Also all time biggest commit Alonzo is def top 5 along with Melvin Bratton. Probably right behind Lester Williams.
Don Soldinger was no joke.....The shade wasnt directed at you. You did a great job with a task that would be considered impossible. It was to alot of posters who are bringing up names like recruiting just started in the year 2000. LOL.
The "Davis" family just didnt win the genetics lottery. Good god. All of them were 5'8 or shorter. And they got shorter and shorter. (Darrin and Jason) If Troy and Darrin were 5'11 or 6'0..we are having GOAT conversations about both of them right now in HS, college and maybe NFL. Being a 5'8 RB if your name isnt Barry Sanders..you have your limitations. I think Darrin was 5'7...Troy still had a HOF college career and had a cup of coffee in the NFL. That performance they put on in the 1993 state championship game was stuff of legend. Unbelievable.
You had an issue than the tennis courts became ringside depending how big ur issue was. Otherwise clear the sofas out the way and get right. Al wasn't as bad but he was up there too.I spent hrs talking with Nate back in the day....My Son was a HUGE fan of his....wouldn't shut up about him...since Chuck was on staff, I brought him down to UM many times, (12hr drive) and Nate would take him into the locker room to hang out with the players...People say Rohan was Pound for Pound the Baddest Cane ever....I disagree....in my opinion Nate was....6'0 230lbs....and not ONE player would F with him....His Hits at Greentree are still Legendary....Edgerrin...James Jackson...didn't matter....he practiced like it was a NC.....Back then practices were RUTHLESS....Great guy....but once the pads went on....it was over. @Brooklyndee was close to Nate...he'll tell you how Crazy Nate was....Lol....and if he hit you in practice, and you got up to argue or say something....you'd wish you didn't....Lol
Boys are getting big...Glad you're home...they looked like they were enjoying themselves....Much love...You had an issue than the tennis courts became ringside depending how big ur issue was. Otherwise clear the sofas out the way and get right. Al wasn't as bad but he was up there too.
The performance Nate Webster put on in the 1995-96 State playoff game against Plantation (Al Blades Sr was a Safety in that game) was also legendary. He knew Al Blades Sr was the man in Broward at that time and Nate was the man in Dade. Nate wanted everyone to know who the man was in ALL of South florida that night. He had to have had 25 tackles. Maybe more. Unreal.
In this day in age of recruiting, Nate Webster would have been a 5*, top 10 player in the country. But they didnt have school camps, recruiting blogs, 100 recruiting sites, recruiting channels on YouTube, Adidas and Nike camps and all the stuff these kids have now to show yourself off. So unless you were a HS freak of nature like Lamont Green or Marvin Jones..(6'3 230lbs as HS seniors) then recruiting sites just listed you has a "ho-hum" level player. Nate was anything but that.
That same "short" end of the genetic stick as far as height goes for the Davis Bros. goes for Nate Webster also. Some people don't know Nate's their 1st cousin and they'd actually be the Webster Bros. if they were given their pop's last name. The shade wasnt directed at you. Nah, the guy who was from Pittsburgh. Coker signed him.Andrew Johnson who played at Southridge??...then Louisville??....think he came later....
Nate did make parade All-American team though. Lamont pretty much busted at FSU, in fact there’s been several blue chip LBs from Dade/Broward flop at FSU. Lamont didn’t really develop at FSU but as a HS player he’s up there with the best LBs I’ve ever seen. Probably fits in behind WW and Shadetree with Nate. Those are hands down the 4 best LBs Dade has ever seen. The performance Nate Webster put on in the 1995-96 State playoff game against Plantation (Al Blades Sr was a Safety in that game) was also legendary. GENO SMITH IS MY QB.....So then how you gonna say Lamar is your QB than qualify his lack of stats saying he had to always run because he didn't have weapons... He always ran by the way cause he sucked throwing the ball like he still does. How bout them apples!
We are throwing to TWO HALL OF FAME WRS....and a copmplete freak show in Frank Sanders.Throwing the ball??....C'mon man....you need time to do that....ain't no time against
Willie
Shadetree
Nate
Wadsworth
Olivier Vernon
Lester Williams
Ted Hendricks....and if you were Lucky enough to throw it....Throw into this coverage...
Kenny Phillips
Sean Taylor
Neil Colzie
Antrell Rolle
Samari Rolle
Darryl Williams
Duane Starks.....Good Luck with that....
Nate Webster was a legend in Liberty City.
I Still remember saving that Herald Article that he had a spread in with him in front of his MNW helmet in my bedroom might have put it on my wall. I wanted to go to MNW so badddd...but we moved to Broward like everyone else around that time lol
Yeah denard is definitely the most explosive dude out of Broward but he ain't got **** on an all time Dade county team. That vaunted mnw team wouldn't have a soul on defense on the team were speaking about. Stop with this geno stuff either. You don't seriously believe this basura you're speaking on... When you speak on high school the defense is night and day ahead of any offense. We got monsters up and down our defense. The one blah spot is at CB and it's not an issue when ur stacked everywhere else. You still gotta get the ball off.GENO SMITH IS MY QB.....
AND HE IS THROWING ALL OVER THAT....
SHOELACE IS THE GUY THAT WILL BE RUNNING THE BALL FROM QB AND HE WAS MORE DANGEROUS THAN LAMAR IN HIGH SCHOOL...ALMOST SINGLEHANDIDLY BEAT THE VAUNTED MNW TEAM
Marcus Fortson and Sean Spence should be on all time miami dade teams. Dade kinda weak at DTYeah denard is definitely the most explosive dude out of Broward but he ain't got **** on an all time Dade county team. Sean don't even sniff an all Dade team. You aging yourself with these selections of yours bruh. Who u gonna take Sean over? Marcus u can atleast make a case for. Also we talking bout high school. What makes you think we don't just play 4 monster ends? I'd put some though into specifically tackles if necessary. So what position you putting Sean at for y'all? Lmao. When I say Sean it ain't Spence...Marcus Fortson and Sean Spence should be on all time miami dade teams. Dade kinda weak at DT
