Ok so you said Mario is an underachiever for sure but coming into this year we were ranked #19 and Vegas had us at 9.5 wins and he has a shot at 11

See how that all works?

The amount of spin people are willing to make with Lane is amazing
Other than not winning anything and getting fired from most of his jobs, Lane is amazing.

Well, a buddy of mine is an OU alum. He told me the Oklahoma boards are saying miamis offer is 6 million. Sounds like they are starting to set their narrative

TrumpyCane asks do you think Manny was fired only because of coaching?
The first part of year 3 went badly enough that the noise about his job uncertainty had really damaged recruiting. The class looked like it was going to be bad, very bad. He actually kept the team together through that and won 5 of the last 6 games, so you could argue it was as much about recruiting as on the field coaching. But all of that is "coaching." That said, he didn't have anything near the support or resources that Mario was given when he took the job. You think it was something else?

When I saw Lanes face on the sideline against that pathetic UF team I knew he was soft.

It is important to remember this crucial fact.

Lane Kiffin's VERY FIRST COACHING JOB came about because he wanted to quit playing football and his father wouldn't let him. So Monte Kiffin forced Lane to become a student assistant coach for Fresno State.

And Lane has shown little enthusiasm for coaching ever since. It's just the family business, and he fell ***-backwards into it.

Lane Kiffin is the Biff Loman of coaching.
