I just don't see Kiffin as an example of underachievement. You might make that argument at USC (despite sanctions), but given his talent vs the talent in his conference, it's not some big failure as some like to suggest. Mario has definitely underachieved at Miami given the personnel he's brought in vs the conference. I don't see how that can be argued. And I'm not saying any of that guarantees Kiffin would have been a better choice at Miami in the long term. I've not given up on Mario, but we're in a precarious spot right now with program momentum for many reasons.

I’ll go without Mateer to be honest. He’s an extra win. Cam was like 2.5 wins.

QB - Chandler Morris (@Memnon knows) 👀
RB - Fluff Bothwell or Ahmad Hardy (only if Martinez leaves)
WR1 - Eric Singleton
WR2 - Eric Rivers or Malachi Fields or Barion Brown (rip)
TE1 - Max Klare or Tanner Koziol
DL - Lee Hunter (probably TTech Bound)
DL - David Blay and/or Keeshawn Silver (need two DL in general imo, maybe more depending on who leaves)…
LB - Josiah Trotter
CB - Tecario Davis or Cameron Calhoun
CB - Mansoor Delane (committed to LSU) or Ethan O’Conner
CB - Charles Brantley or Jaylon Braxton (or honestly anyone that isn’t straight booty juice)
S - Zechariah Poyser
S - Devin Turner

Land a majority of these and we’re winning 10+, a lot easier said than done, however.

I would agree with that. Not a bad choice, until we can get Nickel up to speed. It's not going to garner interest from elite WR portal recruits.

We just had the best QB in America single handily carry us to a 10-win season, and people want to revert back to mediocrity…

It’s insane and extremely laughable, except it’s my team and laughter turns into immeasurable frustration.

Would any f’ing top 15 team take Emory Williams as their QB?

Think I’ve been saying Chandler Rogers when I have meant Chandler Morris in this thread even lol. But I’ve been saying spending $1M on him does make more sense than going over $3.5M for Mateer….

We’ll see who we land and how it stands up to this list.

However you kinda cheated cause you didn’t out Mateer and that was one of the stipulations basically, BECAUSE he is going to be the most expensive Qb in the portal. You can’t realistically expect all the same players when you’re spending possibly $2-3M more on the qb…
