It would be an insane career choice (assuming equal money) to go to Oklahoma to play qb right now
Facts lookin at the stats Jackson Arnold literally had no time to throw last year. They have lost 6 wide receiver there tight end 2 rbs lol i dont see all those guys leaving knowing Mateer was coming. The big inside thing i would wanna know is how close Mateer an Cam are?? How long Cam been recruting buddy to UM. I dont think UM would ju see t not go for any of the portal qbs if they didnt think they had a good chance of getting Mateer

"Sources tell CaneSport that Ward has already spoken with Mateer about the situation at UM, with a caveat that Washington State’s offensive coordinator Ben Arbuckle is now at Oklahoma and many believe that will be his landing spot. But it’s believed the Hurricanes are very much in the picture with Mateer and will make a big push to land him."

IN SHODELL I TRUST

I do not see how he ends up at OU where many WRs have been in the transfer protocol for a few weeks.

Not ruling out Mateer. He'd be an idiot to not at least listen... but.... If QB is in-house, I hope it's Nickel and I hope he lives up to the Sam Howell comparison that gets thrown around.

I've seen Emory practice. While I was encouraged with what I saw at the time, I watched that same defense play all year and it completely negated everything I saw from him in August.

I get it. Emory might be improved, but I’m not sure even the coaches can know with any confidence after seeing him in practices and then reconciling that against how our defense made many of the opposing qbs look like Heisman candidates.

Are they seriously not going to bring in another QB with some type of experience to at least compete with Emory? I Would prefer to have 4 QBs on the roster.
