"Sources tell CaneSport that Ward has already spoken with Mateer about the situation at UM, with a caveat that Washington State’s offensive coordinator Ben Arbuckle is now at Oklahoma and many believe that will be his landing spot. But it’s believed the Hurricanes are very much in the picture with Mateer and will make a big push to land him."

IN SHODELL I TRUST
This is why I am not stressing a no contact tag. He could very well be sign, sealed and delivered to OU rn, but I’d be more shocked if we haven’t had some type of contact with this kid already.

Feels the same

Only difference with Cam is that we were almost left at the altar and didn't hear back from Cam until Mid Jan. We almost started spring ball with Reese and Emory. This cycle, we'll know one way or another this week which will give us plenty of time to pivot. So, in that sense, it's different to me.

Lol this recruiting class and so far portal outlook isn't looking too good for us. We just don't have anything to sell with Cam leaving. We didn't give any reps to the young receivers so now you're in a position where your supposed wr1 can make you overpay if you want a WR back who has actually produced. Not giving more reps to the young guys and only playing the senior guys even when some were making mistakes will come back to bite us. Looking forward depending on if we can somehow flips things quick I think we are staring at a 7 win season and that's being hopeful

Miami has nothing to sell? A very good OL, a good group of TEs, a stable of running backs, the opportunity to score big in NIL with actual endorsements (see Cam), I don't think you thought that part of your post out before typing. There's still time to edit tho.

Let's wait and see. Not going to get big portal receivers or apparently even our own WR's to stay selling on Emory so unless we pull Mateer going to be hard to grab receivers. Also with how everything went at the end of the yesr why play in the ACC if you can play in the SEC make more money and have a better opportunity to lose 3 games and still get to the playoffs
