This is true. Because if we get better qbs than we always play the best available.Which could very well be never if we keep getting top portal qb's every year.

Emory did a decent job managing the game against Clemson but we had insane turnover luck including breaking an 80 yard touchdown run one play after Clemson’s running back fumbled one inch from going into score a touchdown
I feel sorry for you young bucks that have never seen Miami when we were Georgia/Alabama in terms of levels of success that one of the better memories are beating ND in 2017 and beating a mediocre Clemson (a step in the right direction, BTW) with Emory.Still one of the most fun memories of a Miami football game for me.
we'll be there some day againI feel sorry for you young bucks that have never seen Miami when we were Georgia/Alabama in terms of levels of success that one of the better memories are beating ND in 2017 and beating a mediocre Clemson (a step in the right direction, BTW) with Emory.
This needs to be pinned if/when he chooses to go elsewhere. To often, blame is misplaced when a player goes elsewhere when all the FACTS aren’t considered. There will be so much pressure on Mateer today that I wouldnt want to be in his shoes. Pressure from OU. Pressure from his former Wash State coaches whos a$$e$ he probably has to save because OU gave them those jobs with the assumption they would deliver Mateer. And family pressure. Kid has alot on his plate today. Couldnt blame the kid if he caved into it. Everyone and their momma knows UM is the better option. Its not even a reasonable argument. But sometimes X factors come into play and just out-rule common sense. Lets hope for the best today.
Exactly. The spotlight, and thus the opportunity for additional NIL deals will be much higher in Miami because of the location and the Cam Ward connection. It would almost certainly end up exceeding any difference in initial NIL that Oklahoma offers
I'm all for chaos but Mateer committing to us whilst being at Oklahoma is too muchhow do you know it's unrelated
Unrelated but here we go
Also following CJ Daniels now..
That was my first game I went to.. then I got suckered into season tickets“But with Emory at the helm, we did beat Clemson at Clemson.”
We beat Clemson with Emory at home. It was not a road game.
That's interesting and proves he's at least considering Miami by paying attention to our team/visits.FWIW, Mateer now following Horton, Rivers..

Yep…. Crazy but Im coming around on the possibility that UMs WR core next year is better than this year.Bump
Unrelated but here we go
Think this could actually be helpful. Maybe this helps push JM to not commit to OU and continue to explore what’s out there. Don’t think they would be an actual threat
