Being fair the NCAA pending sanctions is killing Golden and our opponents are using it masterfully in their recruiting
 
Collins articulated pretty clearly the draw to go AWAY to school. While it makes sense to all of us for these kids to stay in SF and play in front of friends and family in Miami, that's not necessarily what's going through these kids' heads. With all the rumors, it was a pleasure to actually hear a kid talk about the decision.

Let's hope Duke stays healthy next year. Big opportunity for Sony in 2014.

Seems like a good kid, and he handled his recruitment with class.

But he's the enemy now and I hope he is a colossal bust.

I can understand losing kids to good schools, but Arkansas? The SEC is really throwing their cash around this year.

Hopefully Gus Edwards sees the opportunity here as well. RL3 probably knows where he's playing now too.

You can't lose local ballas. You can't if you want to win. That being said, I'm prepared for all-time epic meltdown Wed. We're going to get trolled hard by DK, Thomas, and Bryant. No doubt in my mind.

Unsure about Coley and Grace.

Feel decent about Bostwick, Edwards, and Brooks.

For some reason this makes me feel better.
 
What is amazing he chose a school that's in the middle of nowhere, a lousy playing field of artificial turf that won't help his NFL chances and it's a lousy academic institution. He will regret the decision in short order it makes no sense whatsoever but as far as Miami is concerned we should write him off and let him sleep in the bed he made. I also think it was a mistake to talk to Kirkland again, see what happens Thursday, and if Donna went over Al's head I wouldn't blame him for quitting. These kids are jerking a lot of people around and it has to stop.
