I literally wrote that I didn't know it, but haven't heard anything like we were constantly hearing from teammates talk about Cam. To be fair, I did see a couple guys say during post-practice media Q&A a couple weeks back that he had them over to his house once. That's it. So I'm glad you confirmed that wasn't a one-off. I think the concerns with Beck are fair, giving that his only concern is injury related. However, lets not forget that almost ALL of us on this board had some concerns/questions with Ward before he stepped onto Greentree (fumbling, decision making, lack of competition). If Beck was 100% healthy right now, he would have been a less questioned player coming into Miami than Ward was. This time last year, if you ask 10 scouts who was the better NFL prospect, they'd all say Beck. Ward obviously came onto grentreee and proved everyone wrong almost immediately, and it definitely the better qb as of today. However, if Beck continues to have a great recovery and can put up the numbers we expect him too, then we'll have another first round qb in the 2026 draft


Also, where is this narrative coming from that he doesn't hold film review sessions with his Receivers, Te's, etc? How do you know he never hangs out with the team? It's actually mind blowing that some of you people actually think this

I clearly miscommunicated, because I never wrote he didn't do that. I wrote that I haven't heard about him doing that. I said it was a concern. Apparently, you and others have confirmed he does meet up with his receivers to go over film et al. That's good enough for me. Sorry for the confusion.

Here are the facts. It was near the end of the 3rd Quarter. Miami was driving in plus territory. Game was tied 28-28. Syracuse had never led in the game.

Restrepo fumbles, it's picked up and returned for a TD to give Syracuse their first lead 35-28. The Dome was rocking. Miami never led again in the game.

Agree the defense costs us the game as we were up 21-0, but that fumble was a huge turning point. Either way, I think the Titans probably draft X in the 5th or 6th round to pair up with Cam

Not you at all man. I like the pick up at the time of the pickup because we got worked again early in the portal on QBs.

But I can see groundwork being laid about his work ethic and I know where it will go as the season goes on…

Guidry had no adjustments/counters/ did literally nothing to try stop the bleeding, just watched hopelessly as his DBs got cooked 1 on 1 over and over and over again **** was maddening all season smh.
