If other teams can land WRs without a qb we should be able to. Look at a&m and auburn. And Zion is a S and we just had 2 hit the portal

Auburn has Jackson Arnold now. And TAMU has Marcel Reed. I'd say both are miles better than our current QB situation

Is he really a splash outside of his name? He had less yards than Sam Brown last year.

Hopefully they come in conjunction with getting another solid QB in the portal. I am assuming mario has a plan here for that otherwise, what do we have to offer Branch? We must have a plan at QB.

USC didn't have the solid OL play we had and not near the QB we had obviously.

Their 2 QBs threw for 3700 yards combined. Maybe it was because of some injury stuff that he was dealing with, but he didn’t take the step that people thought he would.

Depends what kind of wr you see him as. Not counting the bowl game for USC since he didn't play, looks like he finished #2 in yards and less then 200 yards away from #1.

I will say he made bigger plays as a freshman though, not sure if that's because of an injury or if he gained to much weight.

Their WRs were meh tbh. That was a weak spot on the offense. None of those guys looked like what they were expected to be. I think he had some foot or ankle issues that hurt explosiveness but if he’s coming at a high ticket then I’m not sure he’s worth it.
