I’ll take back every Mario Criticism if he can land the Branch brothers (given our need at WR & S they’re the perfect package deal), mateer(lots of smoke here), 1 of Rivers, Concepcion, singleton or Daniel’s(lots of smoke on all of these it would be a major disappointment to lose all 4), 1 of silver/Blay (he needs one of these badly) and 1 of Calhoun, Davis or the FIU safety (really need all 3 but not even 1 is a failure)

I already know he’ll add a solid couple of OL + a RB/TE because that’s who he is but getting those names make us significantly better than we were this year

Oh Im a fan of this kid and he was my favorite recruit in his class when he came out but ask some SC fans and he kinda underachieved last year for whatever reason (I didnt pay attention to USC football but seem like they were in shambles overall). I am still high on his skillset and think he would do really well in Dawson offense, think he would shine actually.

But at this point in their careers Singleton has shown more and he didnt play with ELITE OC and QB combo to begin career. Its not a knock on Branch if we are speaking honestly. Either or would be a plus here

He supposedly had an ankle injury. Also is more of a speed guy than an actual receiver (i.e. route running and hands are a bit suspect). Still, you take a flyer on him

Man, life comes at you fast. One minute Lincoln Riley is on top of the world and widely regarded as the best offensive mind in CFB and a top 5, 10 coach.

Fast forward to 2023 and he loses 5 games with the #1 draft pick. 2024, he's 6-6. And now it seems that offensive players are leaving rather than targeting USC as a destination. Crazy.

He’s soft. His style was perfect for the Big12 where he had such a huge talent advantage it didn’t matter.
