Your reaction when we kicked the FG down seven with 3:42 remaining

Even if you have the 85 Bears defense you still have to go for it. Zero upside not going for it because you still need a fkn TD
If you had the 85 defense 14 points would have been enough. This game was lost in the second quarter, when we started ******** around with Lyles as the RB when we were rolling with Martinez and Fletcher, two wasted chances

That I wouldn't have done it, but I could see the wheels turning in MCs head.

Honestly, I also thought that we'd lose no matter the outcome of that 4th and 7. Score a TD there, fine, there's still almost no chance of holding them scoreless in 3+ minutes. Knowing this, while i didnt agree, i wasn't mad about it.

We needed to be the last ones holding the ball in this game, the way it went - and that wasn't going to be possible either way.

Mario’s quote, justifying his decision is laughably dense:

“If it was outside the 10-yard line with four minutes to go, it was get the points and get a stop.”

Is that a rule written in stone somewhere?

Just confirms that Cristofail is a game management failure.

Score a TD and kick the PAT and there is a chance for OT.

Odds of stopping Syracuse from game-winning FG range might not have been good but there still would be a chance. Maybe Fran has a brain fart and goes conservative and plays for OT. If not, maybe Canes get a miracle turnover and somehow manage a game-winning FG.

Kick a FG and all Syracuse has to do is run out the clock. Which they easily did.

Mario put all the pressure on a defense that failed all game.
