X's n O's or Jim's n Joe's...

This is going to sound redundant and retarded, but the team who plays better wins the game almost all of the time. It doesn't matter how good you look coming out of the tunnel. For whatever reason I don't think we've played good football one game all year.

Good coaching beats good talent IMO as long as the well coached team has at least adequate talent. You need both so its silly to debate what you need more.

I know that we have adequate talent at pretty much every position on both sides of the ball for most competent coaches to field a dramatically better defense that we have had thus far. A lot of coaches will figure out what to do with guys like Shayon, Gaines, and Highsmith and a lot of coaches will give guys like Grace and Jamal Carter burn and find a way to limit what their responsibilities are just to have their ability on the field.

More than one way to skin a cat, so I'd like us to ideally start skinning cats soon.

great stuff on both sides, as well as the all of the above answer...i think our scheme proves its effectivness against g tech or UF run first offenses and proves its ineffectivness when we get spread out...while better players at every layer might improve this proven ineffectivness when facing a spread offense, the stats make this seem impossible...i wouldnt take this scheme to the big 12 or eugene that is for dam sure
