I always thought ZP was over rated coming out in terms of people thinking 5 star. 4 star? That’s about right but he doesn’t look great vs college athletes so far. Let’s see if he turns it around.

Agreed he isn’t a 5 star but he is really talented. He needs coaching. Even the most talented guys will be wasted if not given proper instruction.

When people were talking about how he was going to start as freshman, I knew they were crazy. Kid has talent but doesn’t really know how to properly play the position yet. In HS he was given free rein to just play backyard ball and out athlete everyone.

That doesn’t work at the next level. Technique and knowing your assignments are a must. The very best are athletic freaks and they understand the game.

We have terrible db evals besides OJ it seems. I don’t trust anyone they bring in till I see it on the field

OJ wasn’t even an eval

He literally locked up everyone they threw at him (Guidrys words) and it sounded like they were as shocked as anyone to me

Id like to give the coaches some credit but they don’t deserve it

It's the same anywhere on field but qb is the most important position on field. You need to get it right much more than wrong

Adding Xavier gives you so many options. Playing him at cb, Nickel , safety etc . So many options in that room. What a job of flipping the room.

Mario completely turned the DB room upside down and has brought in proven playmakers. Can't ask for much more in that department.
