This defense has flat out sucked the past two years, that doesn't mean Coach D isn't knowledge about his sport. Being a good teacher and being smart are two different things. I'm praying Golden and Coach D are both.

What we see how these AG believers think if we see more of the same bs as the last three years. I really hope it changes i just have zero faith in them two guys.

Shout out to that boy Dorito, only dude I know can put up back to back historically terrible defenses and have people calling him brilliant/genius/mastermind. You got to be something to get all that praise while putting crap on the field. Only reason guy is here is because his best friend has the head gig and he wont fire him. Only. Reason.


Next time someone gets some time with this oracle, instead of being in awe just slap him and ask him why the defense not working. Im actually a little shocked Ice hasnt done it yet, maybe by halftime in Louisville

Why not? I wasn't one of the idiots calling for his head after the Maryland game in 2011 when we had 8 players suspended, but last year's defense was a complete embarassment. There was no excuse for making Logan Thomas look like Peyton Mannng (again).

I agree I'm not holding my breath i haven't seen anything substantial & a large enough body to make me think they will make it work here. but I'm holding my breath and praying they do. Again, being smart doesn't equal being a good teacher.

Unless the question was specifically about Coach D, there would be no necessity of mentioning him. So I doubt that Mike was placed in a position of having to choose between making positive or negative comments about Coach D. It sounds to me as if Mike is extremely enthusiastic about Coach D.

The reason I am commenting here is that I think there is a tendency to discount peoples' statements if we disagree with them: something to the effect that "he was forced to say that, but he does not really believe it." My guess is that he DID mean it. That is not to say that he is right or that his opinion may not change, but at least understand that that is probably how he feels at present.

I like a lot of your posts, Problem2, but one of my pet peeves is when people arbitrarily negate someone's expressed opinion for totally unsubstantiated reasons. Give the kid the courtesy of hearing him.

It's really not a matter of simply disagreeing with him, it's a matter of numbers over the past three seasons.

Wyche is clearly practicing his skills to hold a straight face while telling widely known whoppers, and we all saw it with our own eyes: he didn't blink.

So I'd say his goal of doing standup is off to a great start. Another couple years working on his timing, and we'll be seeing Wyche on the Tonight Show.

I wouldn't say he adds nothing, but guys like the OP state the obvious believing it makes their football acumen above reproach. His point is valid, but why this thread. Only likely outcomes I think he wants is to either attack Wyche, or say Coach D isn't a mastermind. Neither outcome, are worth a ****.

I pay little attention to August depth charts. I just found it amusing that the reason being given for Wyche not being ready to step in and start is that he still needs to lose 5 pounds. As if 5 pounds at the DT position is really going to make a discernible difference.

Loses 20 lbs of fat gains 15 pounds of muscle, it matters~

In anything you do in life, process only works if you have people capable of understanding it and following it. Too much process will kill you as quick as too little. Our problem has been both. Too much, with players that can't follow it. We will be better this year. How much better is the question.

It was just another piece of the article off tos a pay site that I thought i would share nothing more. My hatred for the Golden Girls isnt bee a secret for years and you know this from the TOS.
